Fish Tank Frenzy
Where are all the Marlins should've traded Beckett for Dunn threads? Gee, since opening day has Dunn done anything? He had 2 homers on opening day, none since. He is batting .188, he would fit in real well with our offense. Could you imagine, Bill Robinson would get no sleep. Now, how is Beckett doing? I am glad we havent seen anymore of these threads. A certain someone on the boards hasnt had the chance.

PhishPhan
And Lowell is hitting .170 I guess him and Dunn may as well retire. Ramon Castro should be an All-star Brett Myers for Cy Young? Edgar Alfonzo/Brain Roberts for MVP? Marlins finish below the Natties? Yes the season may as well today. PS- How did that "Marlins are going to win the wild card!!!!!!!" prediction go last year? I forget. :plain
rferry
The rap on Beckett had been he was too much of an a** (can we say that? cocky, sure, ?) and an injury risk to waste the organization's time on. Knowing what we now know/suspect about Beckett (not Dunn, he's a good hitter and you're a dope), it wouldn't be the right move.

PhishPhan
You do realize he is playing hurt right? Ensberg stepped on his had about a week back, I don't know if you realized but getting stepped on with spikes hurts, let alone your hand getting stepped on with spikes. Josh Beckett + Annual Blisters = Worthless

But to give him up to keep Pavano and have a lefty 1B who hits 40-50 HRs a year that is making less than Josh for the next two years. Yeah it seemed like a good idea at the time, and still does. Especially since Josh is injury prone.

There were people who liked the idea Beckett for Dunn, others not so much. And I promised to keep tabs on Dunn for all those nay-sayers. And Dunn is not making millons of millons yet, so it would be safe to asume the Marlins would have used the Delgado money on something else, like the pitching staff, like keeping last year's ace. And as for D-Lee some people on here said he is no better than Ramon Castro.
