I personally would give-up Wayne, Neal. If need be, a major leaguer such as Almanza, Tejera, or Nunez (even though he's in AAA).

I have been trying to figur that out. I was recently at the Reds mlb board, but I cant find that damn thread now, trying to gauge the likelihood of the Reds dealing guillen to us. I propsed a deal - Wayne, Neal, Grilli, and V Nunez for him. Or maybe 3 of the 4. The Reds fans seemed convinced that they should deal him b/c he is a free agent and they cant afford to re-sign him. They also think his trade value is not as high as it should be because of his impending free agency. I would agree, and I would prefer Guillen to White by far.

Yes, let's please dump Almanza, the guy can't pitch. Especially if it would help us get Guillen.

Sounds like a good deal though...I don't want any of those players around, particularly...especially Wayne and Almanza. I'm no fan of Grilli or Neal, either.

I haven't heard anything about the Marlins being interested in Guillen.

I think we'll end up with White but I really like to see Guillen..And Heredia(Good replacement for Almanza) back in Teal.

I dont want Jacque Jones...the guy is overrated. Anyone watching the games has noticed Miguel's increasing plate discipline....in his last 18 AB's he has 7 hits including a near miss homer which bounced off the yellow...and a few walks. I'm glad hes making it difficult on us. Plus he gunned another runner down!

I say unless we can get Giles or Guillen we should not get a left fielder. I think a solid lefthanded reliever is more important.
