SUCKS...Our PH are batting .250 overall this season as opposed to .207 last season...and we have 2 nice power sources in Castro and Banks and good defensive flexibility....so what are you guys talking about?

What about Hollandsworth? He could go deep too.

Hes a threat, but not nearly the power those 2 guys have...

your bench will not be littered with .300 hitters.

There is a reason bench players are bench players people. Stop expecting all stars from yoru bench.

Exactly...

The key to the bench I believe is Hollandsworth because if he keeps on playing like he has lately he could be a very valuable weapon as a pinch hitter.

I agree, but TJ has to get Banks some at bats too. Its has being a while since his last AB.

I wonder if it hurts banks that he was a Torborg favorite or whether Andy Fox will get cut if we need a roster spot? Regardless of what the Marlins are saying I don't think if Miguel keeps playing the way he is you really want to send him down. I guess I'm wrong on this one but I'd rather see him playing irregularly than playing in AAA.

But then again I can't remember Admin and Jack called to seek my advice. :brigginbounce

We need to continue to build from within. Willis, Cabs, Banks, and Bump all came from our Minor League System within the last year and are performing well. Those trades at the deadline last season have basically built up our bench and we have made several key deals/signings to get Pudge, Pierre, Urbina, and Redman. Kudos to Admin Beinfest!

you cant really call banks a product of our farm system though.

and Todd is 5-8 as a PH
