someone get cited for scalping tickets outside the stadium. That could have very easley been me or Heckeroo but it happened right before we were going to sell them.

Hopefully this will be the first and last time they actually have policemen there.

Anyways, this just shows the importance of a lookout man.

Tomorrow I'll likely be selling either founders or infield box way under face value at gate G. If any members or lurkers of mb.com are police officers, please have mercy. I'm trying to make enough money to go to the Heat game this week.

Some of the guys there scalping tickets are pretty dumb doing it right in front of gate H no more than 15 feet away from a bunch of cops, and more often than not the cops are looking right at them and don't do anything :lol .

miami15, how do you make money or a profit by selling them under face value?

he's a season ticket holder in 150, row 3, so he has like a zillion vouchers to use

In the best way possible, I would never buy tickets from anyone under 18 whether they're $2 or $20.

Don't post if you don't want an opinion.

In all honesty, this post is stupid. Go take your illegal scalping elsewhere.

Your like 15, shouldn't you be in a sandbox instead of selling your vouchers?

You made -a- post. I responded to the original thread, not to you.

You felt the need to take it offensive, and replied to me.

So yes, you made the post.

how was the first post stupid? its pretty reasonable that all of us here have sold extra tickets and would want to know that cops are on the lookout at D.S.

and how does scalping make you think he should be in a sandbox?

i still dont get how scalpers make money off marlins games. I mean the games dont sell out and people can just show up and buy tickets at the ticket window as they please.

never got the point of it, so hopefully you guys can clear up how you make money, because i doubt anyone would pay for tickets over face value

When you purchase season tickets, you get them at a discounted rate.

You then sell these season tickets, individually, at a rate higher than your season ticket rate.

You then make the profit, and can still sell for less than face value.

Would you rather buy tickets from someone with gold teeth and a wooden leg?

I'm not one of those creeps outsdie AAArena that will give you the wrong change or grab the money out of your hand. I'm calm and patient and I try to tell the buyer that I'll be sitting with them if anything goes wrong.

Unlike real scalpers I'm trying to make some extra money. I'm not trying to make a living off this. I think my customers appreciate that.

A few people probably don't like buying tickets from "adolescents" like me. But when I sell someone a tremendous seat for way under face value I can tell I made their day.

I don't get it... If you are selling your tickets under face value, why do you think you have reason for concern? Besides trespass and solicitation issues you might have by selling tickets on stadium property, neither of which should get you a citation, what's the problem? Maybe you should define "below face value?

you can get a citation just for selling tickets on stadium grounds, if youre off the grounds i think selling under face is alright
