The Yankees could have some competition for Roger Clemens' services, after all, and this would be a battle in which George Steinbrenner lacked the home-field advantage. The seven-time Cy Young Award winner has expressed interest in joining the Texas Rangers, according to two people familiar with Clemens' thinking.

Adrian Gonzalez has been wasting away in AAA for the past 2 years, losing him wouldn't hurt them that bad. Of course they'll have to give up more than him to get the Rocket, but I think it could happen.

laynce nix is going to be a great player.

if im the astros and i get offered nix and gonzalez, i take it right away, because the stros unfortunately wont compete this year
