June 6, 200521 yr It is time to let Perisho go. Bring up Howard and see what he can do. Overall, we'll do fine as long as A.J. and Beckett stay healthy. That's the main thing. If we had gone 8 and 1 the last 9 games, but lost either one to serious injury, the season would be lost. Unless injuries cause them to miss more than 8 starts from now to season's end we'll win 92. The hitting will come around.

Not saying the marlins won't get him, but the team that does will be taking it sans lube, he's going to bring back some major chips for the Mariners. Meanwhile there are two very capable situational lefties in San Fren looking for a new home. Considering price tags, I think I'd reather have one fo them.
