July 30, 200323 yr Here it is! On his list of 10 players that might be traded, Rondell White is fourth. He says Florida will probably stick with Cabrera, and will "spend their trading chips on a reliever (Mike DeJean?)." Interesting. A pretty good pitcher for the Brewers.
July 30, 200323 yr DeJean 2-7 4.88 era i dunno about this guy... Better than Almanza... :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol
July 30, 200323 yr He's actually a very solid pitcher... yea...i've never seen him pitch but Uggy was like 0-4 when we got him and he's a great pitcher so i guess the stats dont matter to much. what kind of good pitches does he have?
July 30, 200323 yr DeJean 2-7 4.88 era i dunno about this guy... First off a W/L record doesnt matter much, but the ERA bothered me enough to check it out...at first I didn't want this guy, but hes very effective against right handers...http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/splits?statsId=5803 Theres a full report.
July 30, 200323 yr I wonder who we would give up for dejean...also heres some more on dejean rumors..Several clubs have expressed interest in John Vander Wal, but the Brewers aren't motivated to make a deal. Milwaukee is happy with Vander Wal's production and price tag. The Brewers expect to be inactive in the trade market the next two days. There is some interest in Mike DeJean, but potential suitors could be turned off by the fact that the Brewers aren't interested in paying what's left of DeJean's salary. July 30, 200323 yr hell i wantted this guy a month ago he was very f***ing solid..... now he blows, idk if i want him anymore..... i hope we continue to go after David Weathers
July 30, 200323 yr Went over DeJean's stats and history. He looks pretty good. And I have a feeling Spooney will be "late" coming back (if he comes back this year.) I've heard mid-August or September. No matter. I don't count on him. DeJean is a solid (not spectacular) veteren, power pitcher, low 90's, ground balls, but gets in trouble with Walks. So... we get more double plays.
July 30, 200323 yr well dawg,,,,, i guess you can make a case ARNIZ cuz Urbina stats were a little Inflated in Texas, eva siince he became a marlin he like a Spainish Smoltz "LOL" 2-0 and a 1.04 ERA "thats sick man, i guess we can do the same for De Jean
July 30, 200323 yr The reason Urbina's ERA was high was because he played in a hitter league in a hitters park, now is the opposite.
July 31, 200323 yr i would want DeJeans he very soild player like Wild Card said , only reason that he has that record is cuz he playing with the Brew Crew
