There is no telling what Moehler's record would be with some run support. The veteran right-hander has exceeded expectations, as is reflected by his impressive 2.90 ERA. But a lack of run support is the reason why he hasn't won since May 16 at the Dodgers. In three June starts, Moehler is 0-2 with a 5.50 ERA, but aside from a few tough outings, he's been able to keep his team in the game.

 

Washburn has drawn a no-decision in each of his last three starts and has not won since May 20 when he shut out the Dodgers over seven innings. In his last start, Washburn allowed a run on six hits and two walks over 6 1/3 innings at Shea Stadium. Washburn has not won this season at Angel Stadium.
