Mark
Hochevar was shaky today. The Gators should have won by more, but oh well, a W is a W...and its especially nice since it was against the best pitcher in the World Series.

Guest Juanky
I saw a bit of the ASU-Nebraska game while I was waiting for the Marlins game to start, and I must say that Jaba while not looking as sharp as he did against UM did pretty well. ASU when they were actually pitching to Gordon shut him down, yet the Huskers still dropped a 5 spot on them. Good news for the Red Army if they score that many runs when Gordon doesn't do anything. Guest Juanky
Baylor manufactures itself into a run (whatever happened to that?) Texas 2, Baylor 1 in the bottom of the fourth
Guest Juanky
Texas held the lead and even added a little more, dropping Baylor 5-1. Tomorrow the first team will be eliminated, as Tennessee (0-1) meets Arizona State (0-1) at 2 PM. The later game will see Florida (1-0) vs Nebraska (1-0), first pitch at 7 PM. farmer_fran
The later game will see Florida (1-0) vs Nebraska (1-0), first pitch at 7 PM. 816591 That game should be fun. I felt coming in Florida would be NU's toughest test in their bracket. On a side note: I've watched every game, and I must say ESPN's coverage has been excellent. Eric Karros is a very good analyst, and I've always liked Harold Reynolds, and Kyle Peterson, who knows more about college baseball than anyone at ESPN, provides terrific analysis and knowledge on all the teams and players. Mark
It will be a tough test for the Gators. They passed one in facing Luke Hochevar, now its against arguably the best team that has a disgusting homefield advantage. Should be intense, hopefully the Gator bats stay alive. Mark
Gators take a 2-0 lead with no outs in the first. The bats are alive. Keep it up!
Craig
2-1 game now going to the 3rd. Wow that crowd is crazy, it will take quite the effort to beat the Huskers in that enviornment.

BTW, the Huskers jerseys are sick nasty. Love the look.
Mark
3-1. Damn, I wish that one left the yard. I'll take the sac fly though. LaPorta is an animal.

Guest Juanky
Tennessee is the first team to be kept winless in Omaha, they fell to ASU 4-2. Adkins, who was cruising through 6, stumbled giving up a run in the 7th and then survive the 8th allowing the decisive three runs to score. Good game between Nebraska and Florida, UF up 3-

Mark
Stop the bleeding! 817507 The Gators, like many other college baseball teams, have a very shaky bullpen. Boss has a lot of pitches tonight too, those two complete games he's pitched in the regionals and super regionals may come back to haunt him soon.
