Every year, their's a new tell all book or documentary which proves without a shadow of a doubt, this said person is the devil incarnate. Last year, their was some wack job promising detailed evidence that Bush was snorting coke at Camp David.

Newsweek actually broke the Clinton sex scandal but didnt go to press with it. Someone leaked it to Drudge and he posted it, causing Newsweek to publish. Drudge doesnt exactly check for sources you know. Drudge just picks up rumors and speculation, justlike futureGM said. Usually he gets it from "news sources" and "chatter" and just posts it on his website. That could be anything. Rush Limbaugh could tell Drudge that democrats are all going to engage in mass suicide and he would post it. He also claimed there were rumors that Kerry was having an affair and that it was going to destroy the campaign. Turned out to be false. Most of the time it is. Occasionally, he gets a hit. He is the equivelent of the National Enquirer...no limits on what they publish. Just getting it right once in a while, as the National Enquirer has done, doesnt provide credibility. So if you want to make a proper comparison, drudge is like those posters on here who are supposed "insiders" and who are constantly posting trades that are about to go down. Every so often, they get a hit.

June 23, 200521 yr The drudge report is entertianing to read. But also its fun when things that are posted on there are true. As for the clinton sex scandal, it can be spun both ways. Newsweek didnt want to go to press with it, and wanted to bottle it up, but it was leaked to drudge so technically drudge broke it open. That gives Drudge enough credibility, b/c that was a huge story

I dont judge his personal choice, I just didnt like that fact that later on he committed perjury.
