mdbw
I don't remember seeing one off speed pitch from him tonight. After a few starts he's gonna be figured out and he has nothing in his back pocket to throw. What do you guys think?
FreshFish
I think he will be fine. Is not only a fastball.
jservs7
I just think its the case of a rookie pitcher. Most pitchers that come into the league come in with a fast ball and 1 other pitch like a changeup or what not. Its going to be all part of the growing process. I think once Olsen realizes that pitchers are getting better at hitting his fastball, he'll work on adding more stuff and changing speeds. Sure hope he helps us big in the second half though. MarlinsFan253
I think he has some decent offspeed stuff too.
zzdunlapj
Even if he doesn't have alot of pitches now, he does pretty well with what he has, and he'll definitely learn more and refine what he has down the road. Look at Dontrelle...everyone thought the league had figured him out, he's done ok.

Marlin Nation
His slider is obviously his best pitch. What game are you watching?
Madman81
He threw plenty of sliders and changeups,
pierremvp1
Olsen has looked fine in his 2 starts and one relief appearance. He appears to have good mound presence and he appears to have a lot more than just a fastball. So far so good, in fact, very good. But the guy has pitched less than 20 innings in the majors. Let's give it some time.
AJBurnett34
didnt see the game but he better be mixing his slider and changeup, the slider is his best pitch.
Fish Tank Frenzy
His slider is obviously his best pitch. What game are you watching? 840152 That slider is NASTY !

What do you guys think? 840134 He threw a ton of offspeed pitches between 82 and 88mph and all of his strikeouts came on his nasty slider. You certainly were not watching the same Olsen as the rest of us, mabye you accidentally tuned into the Pirates game and caught Kevin Olsen pitching? :plain
