July 27, 200521 yr This is the rumor I've been hearing. Family guy season 4 is over after 10 episodes and FOX is bringing it back in September. American Dad supposedly has been canceled by FOX.

July 27, 200521 yr why would they do this?? It doesn't make sense, how have the ratings been? I'm talking about FG not AD. the only thing i can think of is that fox thinks that when kids are back at college the ratings would go up. so they wait till school starts to air the rest of season 4 to get the most out of the ratings. but most of the people i know that watch family guy are watching it now just as much as they would if we were at school this doesn't make sense to me, the family guys have been hilarious this season
July 27, 200521 yr American Dad sucked, Seth MacFarlane spread himself too thin with the new season of Family Guy and coming up with the new show. In the end AD was nothing but a Family Guy clone -- and a poorly done one at that. And the new season of Family Guy was entirely forgettable, they need a few weeks to get their s*** together.

July 27, 200521 yr They pale in comparison to what the show was like it's first run and to a lesser extent after they started shifting around it's time slot and editing the crap out of it. It's BLEH, decent if there's nothing on but not overly entertaining.
July 27, 200521 yr There have been one or two episodes that I wasn't a big fan of(theres a couple of those in every season) but the new episodes have been just as good in my opinion. And Mets_bs don't get your hopes up if you haven't liked them so far. I read somewhere that they had almost completely finished putting together two brand new seasons worth of episodes. And that was probably a month ago. Fox is being smart and pushing new episodes until September when their new schedule and the new episodes of all the other series begin. The show does get good ratings...they can run commercials about new shows, maybe gain a little interest for them. It was kind of weird to me to have all new episodes in the summer.

July 27, 200521 yr i told my boy AD just wasnt funny like Family Guy....... i think 10 episodes was season 4...... hell ill take it, the episode with Rice Krespi Elves getting jumped by the Keebler elves was a classic...... hell even last week with the cookie mosnter in rehab...... AD had none that...... wha im dissipointed about is that there takin Malcom in the Middle and moving it too Friday with Bernie Mac show...... i guess thats a move to compete with ABC and the WB

July 28, 200521 yr American Dad had a few moments in the show which got my laughing like I do with Family Guy. I figured it would be cancelled, but Id watch it in the whole Sunday night run on Fox. Family Guy has me laughing the entire show with even harder outbursts at moments such as the Four Peters and "Riding on a Bus", I havent watched nearly enough Family Guy with them having 4 seasons, which is good because it leaves me more to watch when they aren't running new episodes. How can you complian that Season 4 was only 10 episodes, THE SHOW WAS CANCELLED BEFORE, Im thankful there was a season 4 and there will be future seasons. Granted they were retarded to cancel the show, even with the FCC on their ass like hair. The creators and writers weren't given that much time to put the full amount of episodes together for a 4th season, even though I believe they had at least 3 sitting around from before it was cancelled. Now with AD out of the way and more time to put good episodes together, season 5 should be strong.
July 29, 200521 yr American is not canceled, new episodes start again Sept 11. Same with FG BTW, season 4 has been god awful.. should have stayed cancel and just done the movie.
