Tonight's attendance: 26k

 

Excellent for a Tuesday game against a team like the Pirates.

Its a shame that this is a surprise, but that high of a number given the circumstances is quite surprising.

i know that we lost tonight, but lets hope it doesnt discourage another one tomorrow night too see the Duke kid...

I noticed that they opened the upper deck. I thought they didn't do that on weekdays?

It's because weekend games are more expensive than weekday games given the new variable pricing employed by the Marlins.

 

I mean, the last homestand, my row was more crowded for the Brewers than it was for the Cubs. Yes, you could argue the weather had something to do with it, but games were played every day...

Quite surprising. I was there tonight and there was a great feeling.

Section 141. If you were getting a nice breeze then I sure wish I was sitting in your section because I was dying out there.

It was very comfortable weather wise for me at the game tonite. Nice surprise also to see the 26k turnout. I don't think most of them knew who was pitching for either team, so I don't expect more than 14 people to go tomorow just to see this Pittsburgh flash in the pan, but it would be nice to see another 26k turnout. They were 98% Marlin fans tonite.

I was sitting in section 101 and it was HOT!!!!!!!!!!! Well lucky you if there was a breeze where you were sitting because where I was I was dying.

I was there tonight as well, section 145. Did someone bring some drum or something? During every stoppage in play someone would bang this OBNOXIOUS drum, i'm not sure where it was coming from but I think it was coming from the picnic area. Most obnoxious sound ever.

 

The first game back after a long road trip usually has a high attendance, the stadium seemed a lot more full than just 26k.

It was Puerto Rican night at the stadium, and there was a group of guys in the Fish Tank playing various instruments. They moved to the Spa area towards the end of the game, that's what you heard.

I like the instruments being played, it was unique.

 

 

I went to the stadium sat in section 450-something. I was surprised to hear they had the upper deck open. Driving up to the stadium I got POUNDED by rain, I can't beleive it didn't rain at DS.

 

Oh yeah, Jack Mckeon is a joke.

Just got back from the lovely island of Aruba, so I couldn't go today or yesterday. I'll probably go tomorrow, and then....MATH TIME IN HAWAII!!!!!
