Miguel Cabrera

It's hard to disagree with that notion although Sheffield, with those incredibly strong wrists and flashy bat twitchng, is more animated at the plate.

One can only imagine where Cabrera will be in two years. OMG !!!

(Has anyone noticed how much thinner he looks these days from opening day? He looks to me to have lost maybe 15 lbs since April.)

Miggy is probably the best Marlins hitter in RECENT history. Sheffield's 42HR (? I'm guessing) season is the one to beat.

Still... 22 years old and hitting .356 this late in the year is incredible. This is not a knock on Cabs but based on some of the bad strikeouts he has had this season, he still hasn't fully learned the strike zone yet...THAT is a SCARY thought...God help the NL when he figures it all out... Barry who???? Albert who????

GREAT JOB CABS!!!!! Make us proud!!!!!

FO: Lock this kid up!!!!!!
