Home Plate Ump Wolf, Yes Randy Wolf brother, Yes that Randy Wolf that plays on the Phillies. How can MLB let this Ump a game that directly affect his brother team position. Willis got squeeze on the inside and outside part of the plate by this @-Hole. total BS....this guy has done it to us twice this year in NY earlier in the year and now again. This guy should not be an Ump at this level when anybody with a pair of eyes can see his showing favoritism toward his brother's team not directly but indirectly... :angry

Well you know edcanes the marlins are the only baseball team in the national league that doesn't get help and i agree with u this guy should not be umpiring the game we are the only team that doesn't get help!

I'm telling you the phillies are paying the ump's and im sure of that cuz since we've been winning the umps have been trying to hurt us!

wow that ump is a pain in tha @$$!

This is for the home-plate ump today randy's brother :boxed :censored :fyou :geek :fyou :thumbdown :chair :fyou :fyou

4-posts in a row by the same person all saying the same thing rephrased. Is that a record?

Well, the first part of this thread was interesting at least. I agree with you Ed, Wolf's brother shouldn't be umping in the ML at all much less the NL. I guess it wouldn't be so bad to have him in the other league if he's qualified but still.

Ed, I sat in Section 34 Row 1 tonight (yeah, that was us entertaining the crowd :D ) and didn't have my glasses on. Even without them I could see the ump sucked dick to all Marlins pitchers, he was very inconsistent. That is the only thing I ask for in an ump or ref, consistency.

Naw, but we have done that in the past :D . We were the guys screaming "We're gonna win tonight!" like rednecks and chanting weird chants.

oooh, lol

watching the game on tv I thought he had shrunk Willis's strike zone down to the size of a pea. However he wasn't giving Perez a lot of borderline calls either early on. Perez was just throwing a lot of first-pitch strikes, and established his strike zone. Willis was pitching from behind from the start & the ump never gave him anything.

Ed, Did you ever think about making a remake of Conspiracy Theory.

What you said is absolutely ridiculous.

Wolf umped a game while The Phils were in Anaheim and he did not show a damn bit of bias, both Phils Fans and Angels fans agreed.

Also Willis why don't you post everything you have to say in one phrase instead of trying to make your post count go up.

I'll agree with Rune here.

Although, I didn't agree with Wolf's strike zone, I thought he was fairly consistent, he called that high strike all night and for both sides.

They said on the radio that he could not umpire at the plate when Randy pitches. I could not see the game, but it sounded like Dontrelle had problems throwing any thing resembling a strike.

He wasn't that wild. He went early for the borderline pitches he more often than not gets, and when he didn't get them I think it shook his confidence a little bit. There some pitches that were balls for the Dodgers that were strikes for the Marlins, so don't say sht Rune. Did you even see the game?

And the most upsetting was a couple times the Marlins would be hitting and on a full count it would look like a ball. Nothing would be said for five seconds and then he would call strike three when the hitter had put his bat down thinking it was a ball. Does he have to blow his nose on every full count or something?

Wow! I didn't know the Phillies had such a large payroll. To pay their staff and pay off the unpires.

Does Steinbrenner know this???

:lol :thumbup

Livin' up to your award-avatar-thingie.

DW was that wild....

it was pretty bad....
