Posted September 5, 200519 yr Maybe its just the anger talking and i may get bashed but im used to it. get it through your minds that no matter how much you want hermida to play and want lowell to be benched...its not gonna happen. i mean hermida might get a start or two by the time the season ends but all i see here is let him play let him play or bench lowell bench lowell now! shut up and relax. just watch the game. it doesnt matter how much you want it,you dont have a choice. jack does what he wants. so please stop all these threads about lowell and hermida. hermida has had like what 2-3 at bats are treating him like a god! I mean i want him to play but cmon give it a break already. lowell i remember last year everyone wanted him to sign and everybody was loving him. this year yeah i admit he has flat out sucked ass. he has been horrible but he is going to keep playing and that is it. he will keep being put in the lineup. I got an idea why not put one big thread for hermida and one big thread for lowell so when i come to this part of the site i dont see like 3 about hermida and like 3 of lowell. so relax and be positive and hope that lowell finally gets out of this funk he is in which has drove me crazy because i really like lowell but i think my brother and even people on this site!!! can do better than he has hitting the freaking ball. so please relax and stop taking up space for these dumb threads that all mean the same thing. go fish! :tired:
September 5, 200519 yr Hey HC, doesnt this count as a Lowell support thread? I think we have a few of those. :lol
September 5, 200519 yr Author My point is that he is having a crappy season. but just because we want him benched doesnt mean its gonna happen. so stop making threads about wanting him out of the lineup. we know already.
September 5, 200519 yr And what are we supposed to do? Sit nice and quiet on our hands watching the third baseman continue to fail and be the chief catalyst in our offense being about as exciting as paint thinning? Are we supposed to come on here and just say Go Marlins and praise every good thing and ignore every bad thing? As long as posts on either side of the opinion spectrum are thought out then there's really nothing you can complain about. Like it or not, that's the civilization we live in. And if you don't like it, just remember how many people have put up with your horrendous posts over your course in time around this message board. I won't bring up specific examples to prevent this thread from turning into a bashing of other members thread, but you and I both know exactly what I'm talking about. Now, as far as the third baseman is concerned, we have a .230 hitter with no power and a 5 tool player waiting for a chance to play. If we're going to miss the playoffs, can we at least do it with the best talent we have available playing everyday?

Mikey won't snap out of it. He had his chance. It's someone else's turn, whether it's Hermida OR someone else... Lowell needs major time-out time....
September 5, 200519 yr I think it should be Conine starting, and not Hermida, but right now I'll be happy with either.
September 5, 200519 yr Hey HC, doesnt this count as a Lowell support thread? I think we have a few of those. :lol 930246[/snapback] you see any more of them? or was that another of your great jokes? Honestly, don't take it so personal when I close a thread. I'm trying (uselessly) to clean up the board.

So since you're using sarcasm, Ill throw in my own. And its not about anything being personal dude, Im just trying to see your perspective on whats "useless". Unless theres something I said that you took "personal".
September 5, 200519 yr Well, at least Lowell is benched for one day. That's a start. Hopefully this lineup will show a bit more and Jack will keep Lowell out of the starting lineup.

I wasn't making a joke, if there was another pro-Lowell thread you think it should be merged with, I'd move it.
