September 7, 200521 yr A much more potent looking lineup tonight. I hope Jack sticks with it tomorrow. Of course we still suffered from timely hitting. I'm still hopeful that will turn around this month.
September 7, 200521 yr RBI double. I think he just matched Lowell's production for the past three weeks. OH MY GOD, HE HAD ONE AT BAT, HE NO AS GOOD AS MIKEY LOWELL. Where are you guys now? 932605 dude, Hermida is gonna be a good one, but come on 933046 When you have people saying that Hermida ain't s*** in this very thread, I'm not really sure what you're getting at. I like(d?) Lowell, but I was making a point.

Hermida shows excellent patience for a young player. I really like this one-two punch ahead of Cabrera and Delgado much better.
September 7, 200521 yr This is how the lineup should be kept for the rest of the season :thumbup Sorry Mikey :whistle
September 7, 200521 yr If only Pierre was his regular .300 self, this lineup would be more potent. That would allow us to have Hermida lower in the lineup and give us a spark down there. :confused Hopefully tonight's lineup can build on what they did in this game. :pray
September 7, 200521 yr With the exception of Easley, who is just there becase Alex is injured and Andino/Wilson too green and too weak with the bat, this has been my favorite lineup of the year.
September 7, 200521 yr This looks like a good lineup and all, but moving Pierre down to the 7th spot in the lineup takes away his basestealing because if he steals 2nd base, they'll walk Easley to get to the pitcher. :banghead But then again, Pierre has been struggling so maybe he won't even get on base to have an opportunity to steal. 932371 That's pretty much a good thing. If JP reaches with two outs, our chances of scoring him are so remote it won't matter who's at bat. If he reaches leading off an inning or with 1 out, there's some speed on the basepaths for the lesser parts of the lineup to play smallball with.
September 7, 200521 yr no way and i cant belive their gonna bat him second 932414 Whats so hard to believe? Hermida is a OBP machine, perfect for the two hole. 932417 Hermida ain't s*** in the MLB yet. Why don't we let him prove himself before putting him so high in the lineup? 932420 OK... how about Pierre, no matter how terrible a slump he is or the streaks or abilities of anyone else on the team, starts the games when we play Cincinnati? Deal? This is about winning, not playing fan favorites and/or giving each visiting fan the full value of his ticket.

September 7, 200521 yr I wouldn't mind seeing that lineup again. 933552 not happening with a lefty on the mound for the nats I think is going to be Conine replacing Hermida with the same line-up

They should just move Ency to center and put Niner in RF with Hermida in LF. :mischief2
September 7, 200521 yr Jp did alright last night and plus he has good range in center field. That is a huge park you need a speedster out there. perhaps aguila instead of JP if you need. plus JP hates to take nights off
