September 11, 200520 yr Well it's evident that we are sorely missing some middle relief. I'm glad we have young guns that can fill a hole now and then; but to use them like this...I don't buy it. Watching this IMPORTANT game, one can only shake their head seeing how inadequate these kids look pitching to real MAJOR leaguers. SOS
September 11, 200520 yr I put alot of it on Treanor's calling behind the plate. He kept calling fastball after fastball and it didn't take long for the Phillies to jump all over them.

September 11, 200520 yr Our main bullpen problem all year has been using lesser players in tight spots. Now that it's September, guys who were called up to eat some innings in blow outs and procide depth are taking more and more of the critical innings away from our good relief arms. I put alot of it on Treanor's calling behind the plate. September 11, 200520 yr come on...these are 21 and 22 yr olds out there busting their asses to try and help this team right now...they are not seasoned veterans.....YET....give them some time and they will be the catalyst of this Marlins team in the future....... By the way a minor leaguer just picked up his first MLB win...so how bout that
September 11, 200520 yr Hard to watch? Yes. Did you get rewarded if you stuck around? Yes. 939713 Just like the 2003 Marlins were. Especially in that NLCS. I got that wiggly feel.
September 11, 200520 yr Author 7-6 FINAL Yeah, it was really hard to watch. :mischief 939716 Of course it was hard to watch our Fish falling behind. If you are a TRUE fan you know we don't come from behind very well (at least not consitently). But it sure feels "GREAT" to see a win like this!!! Hat's off to our fish! Great win and as Tommy put it..."the best game of the season"
September 11, 200520 yr What an awesome game tonight, we came from behind twice. If this was a month ago, we would have lost as soon as the Phillies put up the first 4 runs.
September 11, 200520 yr Great win, but not the best game of the season. Maybe the biggest win of the season, but the Phillies game at home earlier in the year ("Run Joe, RUN!!!) or the Braves extra innings game from June stand out to me as the two best.

Lesser players being used in tight spots is getting old rf. if in the ML, should be able to be used in any situation. These guys were not just called up to eat innings either. I put alot of it on Treanor's calling behind the plate. However if you are a TRUE fan, you would know never to count out this team before all 27 outs have been recorded. :mischief

P.S. Before you go out of your way to defend Jack and make an a** of yourself again, I wasn't attacking him in that post. You need to update your firmware Jack Defender 5000.
September 11, 200520 yr Hard to watch=more rewarding in the end when the Marlins win. Seeing the Marlins have a clear win with the lead the whole game all the time isn't as fun.
