Now it's AJs turn.

I'm not gonna bash AJ anymore. He's a marlin for now and I hope he turns on his game.

He has to follow Dontrelle's and Beckett's lead. Control is key. Beckett had no walks today, a big reason for his great game.

Go fish!

I'd like to see AJ go after them with a good mixture of offspeed and fastballs. If he would start pitching to contact again he'll shut them down.

AJ starting=Oh God please.

at this point id be happy if he manages to give up less than five runs.

rorod - Change your attitude. If it wasn't for AJ's stetch of good games we wouldn't be where we are. Yeah he's sucked in the past few starts, but if you are a marlins fan, having a huge signature like yours is stupid.

I'm sure you felt the same way when he was carrying this team for a couple of months......

Get over it. AJ has struggled his last few starts, but it happens to everyone; JB, Vargas, even Dontrelle hit a skid. If we are gonna do anything down the stretch and/or in the playoffs we need AJ to pitch like an ace, and for most of the year he has.

Thats why his era is still around 3.4. He has just pitched really bad the past 4 games or so, but he should get back hopefully. Just a few weeks ago he had won like 7 in a row

This wil be a good test for AJ... This is a pressure game for him. A chance to beat another team fighting for post-season and also having to pitch at the same level D-Train and Josh demonstrated already in this series.

He definitely has a big time opponent unlike D-Train and Beckett, if we lose this game and he gives up 3 runs I really hope noone bashes him.

Still, AJ has the stuff to shut down the pukey Astro offense. If we manage to scratch out 3 or 4 runs we should be able to steal a game from Clemmens.

As amazing as Clemens' numbers are, the fact of the matter is neither he nor AJ have a win in the month of September, and Clemens doesn't have one since August 7th.

I know this is over simplifying it, but whoever screws up the least before the 7th inning tomorrow will win; that's it.

yea.. AJ needs to step it up against the rocket..

i think he will too after seeing the fire and intensity in everone else..

come on aj.. dont disappoint us
