Fish or Foe?

It's crunch time...Actually, it's past decisive action--we are now in to desperation mode. We have to win every game possible. Not much room for error.

An opportunity is still out there for the Marlins...

Can they sweep? Yes. Will they? Unlikley.

Also making the playoffs via division title requires the Phils to collpase too, one team collapsing I can see, but not two. We'll just have to see.

Nope and still nope.

We win one game and suddenly we're the scariest team ever.

I wish there were some reason to think they could actually do something like this, but we've lost 6 of 9, our longest winning streak of the season is 6 and we're suddenly going to turn it on against the best team in the division?

I'd love for it to happen, but this team has given me exactly zero reasons to believe it will.

Going 4-6 in that 10 game stretch with the Phillies and Astros kinda summed things up. We're 10-10 this month.

And even if we did find a way to pull it off, the Phillies still have a 2 game lead on us and they play the Reds, Mets, and Nationals.

I just want to win some more games and enjoy the final 9 games of the season, hopefully we actually win more of them than we lose.

If we go 8-1, Phils would have to go 6-3 (that's still very good). And if we went 9-0, Phils would have to go 7-2 (ya).

I know it seems impossible, but for the next 9 days, I want something to believe in...

Wooooooooooooah, fancy new forum software. 2 polls in 1 thread, i've always dreamed of doing that.

Oh wait, that was 2 chicks at the same time, nevermind.
