October 12, 200520 yr I know my choice Pinella is not it, but I hope it is Girardi. If its not Pinella, then I don't mind someone who is young and not etched in their managerial ways (yes, the exact opposite of Pinella). The FO needs to act quickly (unlike mid-season player moves) and get a manager now, not wait until after the post-season when all the best choices are gone. Neither should they be trying to go on the cheap and hire a manager for only $500,000 a year.
