Posted November 6, 200519 yr A lot of huge matchups today: Carolina at Tampa Bay - Can Tampa Bay rebound from an unexcusable loss at home versus what some consider to be a fragile Carolina team? Detroit at Minnesota - It's still anybody's division, and the Minnesota Vikings are going with Brad Johnson at QB. Could Brad Johnson take the focus off of the team's headlines from earlier in the season? Can Jeff Garcia really lead the Lions to the playoffs? Philadelphia at Washington - Will Philadelphia sink or swim without T.O.? Can Washington rebound at home after an embarassing loss to the rolling NY Giants? This is a pivotal NFC East matchup. Indianapolis at New England (Monday) - Not a divisional matchup, however, most people agree that it's the Colts time to finally get the New England monkey off of their back (I disagree). Should make for a very interesting Monday night.
November 6, 200519 yr We roll into Baltimore today looking to improve to 7-2 and move one step closer to our first playoff birth since the last Bush was president. The Ravens scare me, I don't care what their record is and who's not playing. We're 2-2 vs. them under Marvin Lewis, but the 2 times we've lost, they've killed us. We need this one heading into the bye and then our post-bye national TV showdown with Peyton's Gang.
November 6, 200519 yr Author I hadn't given this game much thought, but you're right. It's anything but a gimme for the Bengals. I'm pulling for you guys this year in the AFC!
November 6, 200519 yr Joey Harrington, not Jeff Garcia is starting for the Lions in what should be a painful game to watch.
November 6, 200519 yr I think even with Harrington the Lions win today. The Vikes are just in shambles, but who knows.
November 6, 200519 yr Oh boy Carolina today not good. Wow Pamela Anderson doing the weather on the Fox pregame show! Her nipple look nice!
November 6, 200519 yr Author Joey Harrington, not Jeff Garcia is starting for the Lions in what should be a painful game to watch. Sorry for the mistake :banghead
November 6, 200519 yr Since when can Michael Vick pass? Falcons offense just marching down the field.
November 6, 200519 yr Fins going 4-4 after this week. This team is really starting to put it togther. If Frerotte can just bge 'average', Ricky and Ronnie will take care of the rest on offense. And the defense--ya, they are great. Secondary is iffy at times, but solid all around.
November 6, 200519 yr Author Since when can Michael Vick pass? Falcons offense just marching down the field. :banghead Have you watched Atlanta play at all this year?
November 6, 200519 yr Indianapolis at New England [/b](Monday) - Not a divisional matchup, however, most people agree that it's the Colts time to finally get the New England monkey off of their back (I disagree). Should make for a very interesting Monday night. We'll see :mischief :lol
November 6, 200519 yr Brad Johnson looks pretty good, though it's hard to say if it's because he's actually playing like a quality QB or because the Lions are playing awful.
November 6, 200519 yr Dolphins worst enemy is penalties. The team is good, the discipline sucks a lot.
November 6, 200519 yr Kordell Stewart is in now for the Ravens and there offense is moving no joke... he was wide open on a pass from Randy Hymes but it was just overthrown
November 6, 200519 yr Author Brad Johnson looks pretty good, though it's hard to say if it's because he's actually playing like a quality QB or because the Lions are playing awful. I almost started him on my fantasy team today. Last minute decision not to.
November 6, 200519 yr Well I guess we were a fluke. Carolina is playing over their heads right now. And the Bucs are a totally different team with Griese...that loss really hurt them.
November 6, 200519 yr Since when can Michael Vick pass? Falcons offense just marching down the field. :banghead Have you watched Atlanta play at all this year? Um ya, Vick has been one of the worst passers in the league this season. Well I guess we were a fluke. Carolina is playing over their heads right now. And the Bucs are a totally different team with Griese...that loss really hurt them. How is Carolina, the team most people picked to represent the NFC in the Superbowl, playing over their heads?
November 6, 200519 yr Whos hopeless? The ones questioning Vick's passing abilities? Well, bud, it's true...he is one of the worst passing qbs in the league.
