I'm hardpressed to find a trade of Pierre that I think will benefit the Fish in '06 (knowing others will disagree), especially to the hated Cubs, but that said, a trade that included Murton and Cedeno would certainly get my attention. Getting Pie is a fantasy, but picking up those two guys would be the coup of all coup.

Getting Pie is a fantasy, but picking up those two guys would be the coup of all coup. Personally, I'd like us to get younger overall. Trade Pierre and Lowell for some great prospects that can help us in 2006. I would love us to get a top CF, LF, or SS prospects for those guys. Although I agree that Pierre is likely to have a better year in 2006, the reality is that we'll only have him for 2006. If we get top prospects we'll have a bunch of very young and very talented players that will be with us for quite some time (Miggy, Hermida, and one or two Murton types). That will make us competitive for the next several years. We can have Murton in LF, a Felix Pie or another speedster in CF, perhaps a young shortstop to replace Sea Bass. I think we'd have a nice blend of young and experienced every day players. And I really think Girardi can do a great job with these kids. As long as we have Miggy and Delgado, we'll be fine. I just don't want to unload Delgado.
Guest Juanky
Weeks with 26 hr? How is that possible? He has a lightning quick swing, he could definitely hit 30 homers on a regular basis.
