We forgot who this hurts the most. It doesn't hurt the fans as much as it hurts this individual. Your lives will go on, your careers will go on, you will be able to go on with your everyday life but one individual will take this rougher than any of us. This individual might be homeless, might be without his car, might have nothing left at all. I'm talking about Billy the Marlin. Keep him in mind when you cry about losing the team, he is losing his lifelihood. Look already his reaction as he realizes he might be unloading his car for the last time ever:

Billy....I thought about him earlier.

All I can say is that poor Billy represents everything that we have come to love about this franchise. May he survive as the Fish out of water.

:lol

Good stuff.

All might not be lost for Billy, either. Youppi found employment after the Expos left.

Kids will cry and ask their families why Billy is leaving. What does Samson want us to tell them? Billy is going to fish heaven? :(

Poor Billy :crying

Actually, last I heard, Billy has already become the latest victim of the firesale. He was traded to the new ABA Florida Pitbulls in exchange for cash and journeyman Jesus Guardado.

No, you are wrong. We forgot about somebody else who will be hurt the most by this nonsense: the children. How do you explain to your kids that because the politics and business around the game they are never going to see Billy the Marlin agin, or Dtrain, Miggy, Lowell, Beckett, etc? :thumbdown
