If you're going to protest (which is this case I think is semi-ridiculous, but whatever) at least do it outside the stadium, so you aren't paying money to Loria (in the form of ticket sales) just for the opportunity to tell him he sucks.

It will be easier for the REAL fans to get good seats unless something very unexpected happens. I will be buying my budget seats so I can enjoy the game right behind homeplate when I walk all the way down after the security falls asleep from boredom in the 2nd inning.

Opening day attendence will be fine.

 

It'll be game 2 and 3 and every game after that will be disappointing.

I'll still be there, and yes I expect it will be fun to watch these young players on the field. Sure they will make their share of mistakes, but still I look forward to seeing them play with all the enthusiasm one would expect from prospects getting their chance to shine in the bigs.

Samson is probally a genius yet a prick at the same time, he made loria dismantle the team in order to make us suck and him have to pay literally nothing for it. Then once the team completely sucks and averages 4 wins a month and 2000 people a night Bud selig will say "well maybe florida isnt a baseball town lets move the franchise for sure". Samsons franchise moves to vegas or wherever he gets mad cash loria rebuilds the team (something hes sure good at assembling a good team) everyone gets what they want except Southflorida marlins fans.

 

Intresting question could be turned into a poll, how many of you would follow the marlins if they were out of state or would you all divert back to your pre 2003 season of being the biggest yankee or redsox fan in the world.

I'm sure many South Florida fans will show up thinking Beckett and Delgado are still on the team.

Just look at the other comment about going back to root for the pre-2003 favorite team. For many of us, it would be pre-1993 or pre-inception team; not pre-2003. Actually, I'd be so disappointed that I would just watch the game with no favorites. I used to be a Mets fan pre-Marlins and just can't see myself going back to that side of the track considering all of the morons among them.
