Beckett's headed for a terrible outing. 2 runs already in 2 innings. bases loaded in the 3rd & he's probably around 65 pitches already.

way to go Josh! :thumbup

meanwhile the offense has gone 20 innings without scoring a single run.

Beckett is at 69 pitches through 3 innings. Not good. I just want see us get 1 run.

Well, I think it's safe to say that we couldn't suck more than we do now.

Oh well, let's look on the bright side.Who would you rather win the wildcard if the Marlins don't make it.The Expos or the Phils.I'd prefer the Expos.

Why are we doing so bad? Is there anyone reason, any combination of reasons, why? Why are we falling apart like this? What has to be done? This is the same team we had that swept the Padres before the road trip, what happened at Coors?

Josh's gotten lucky today.

I'd rather see the Mets than those two. The Expos fans generally are arrogant and degrading of other teams. Phillies fans are all bark but no bite as usual. At least those damn Mets fans say "go mets" wherever they are and however they are playing.

Realistically, I would like to see Arizona take the wildcard, so that way it was no NL East team and the Marlins wouldn't look as bad.

I think it's psychological. They are getting to anxious and instead of hitting line drives they try to go for Homers.Plus now im guessing they go into every game hoping they win not expecting to win.

Josh's gotten lucky today.

The game should have been 7-0 by now. We have been lucky, but the bats are dead and the pitching is being teed off on.

It's only the bottom of the fourth, plenty of game left. Once they win or get ahead again they will gain more momentum.

BTW we are out-hitting the Expos 3 hits to two, and yes Josh has been very lucky.

What is a good estimate of the attendance? I was hoping for 18,000 tonight.

Really?

The Expos have a hardcore fan base that is about as bipolar as a magnet.
