the good dentist i liked told me that my jaw was big enough, no problem as long as i got that one fixed.

the idiot money hungry dentist i would goto now would probably have had me get them pulled or suggested it.

Did you realize they teach courses in Dental School on how to maximize profits when running their own business? You really have to watch out for the ones who only see dollar signs when they open your mouth.

That is not to say there are not very reasonable dentists out there. I happen to have one. But I have run into a few that would quickly recommend unnecessary procedures.

thats why dentists are evil. the vast majority arent good enough to be real doctors so they stick with dental school where they can make big profits. all they care about are ways to make the most money possible, nothing else matters. i know, i deal with them on an everyday basis and see it all the time.

I had all 4 impacted.

I had a bad reaction to the numbing stuff (don't know how to spell the correct word), but that was it for me in terms of real nausea/pain.

I had 1 removed, it didn't hurt at all, came out in 1 peice.. I had 4 shots of novacaine in my gums and was numb for 6 hours.. but other than that.. I was eating solid food that night...

;)

I don't get it.... either way.. I never open anything anyways ;)

I had all 4 impacted and removed at the same time, then had some problems with numbness and super-sensitivity afterwards.

It was pretty miserable, and to make matters worse, I got the procedure two days before the Penny/Lo Duca trade, which only made me even more angry.

Thankfully, vicodin is always there to ease the pain.

If you guys are scared of crooked dentists, then I have a solution for you: Dr. Steven Bogdanoff. He's probably one of, if not the, best dentists in South Florida--completely legit. Plantation, FL. I'm sure some of you know of him, in fact.
