MarlinFan10
Yep, I have no more wisdom teeth and my mouth is all swelled and I can't talk. Haven't had any pain yet though. Getting your wisdom teeth raped isn't as bad as they advertise.
farmer_fran
I had them taken out back in August. It wasn't too bad although I did throw up a couple times after I regained conciousness after the surgery. As far as pain though, it wasn't too bad. Hardest thing is not being able to eat solid food for a week.

Passion
It isnt as bad as I thought it'd be earlier, I had them taken out during the summer. I never really had any pain, but the swelling didnt go down for a while.
RossInfoMan
For most, its not too bad. If youre one of the unlucky ones, like me, to get "dry sockets" afterward, it is very painful. Lets just say I couldnt eat solid foods for a month.
Passion
It also matters whether or not your teeth are impacted or not. Luckily, mine were not.
MarlinFan10
I guess you don't notice it because you're whole face is numb, but I just found out a whole bunch of blood from my mouth ended up in my bed without me noticing. Now I can't lie down :thumbdown
Mark
It's just uncomfortable. Not much pain from my experience, just discomfort.
Lefty
Well don't say it isn't as bad as advertised. You probably a) didn't have all 4 removes b) didn't have them impacted c) were able to have them all removed whole. Me? I had all 4 removed...all were impacted, and two of them came out in pieces. Talk about pain. I went on vicatin for an entire day...That was fun. Did you go thru IV, gas, or other?
Hollyberry
I got my wisdom teeth out a few years ago. I thought it would be horrible but it was nothing. I didnt even take pain killers or even advil. It's just uncomfortable. Not much pain from my experience, just discomfort. Same here... I felt like my jaw was going to fall off. Das Texan
All 4 of my wisdom teeth are in my mouth. I did have to have a brace on one of them for about 6 months though to straighten it out.
mr_eob
I just got mine pulled on Tuesday morning. I took out all four, two of which were impacted. Somewhat swollen, but you're right its not as horrible as some people claim it to be. They used IV sedation and laughing gas, so I was out completely. Well hope you feel better soon, you might miss out on alot of the holiday food though. Lucky for me Im ready to eat almost anything, soon. Did they put a drain in your gums? I took my drain out today, man is that thing loooooong. I felt like a magician getting the hankys out of his mouth. The doc kept pulling that string, I had no idea they could fit all that in there. Didnt hurt though.

I had all 4 removed, I have no idea how, but 2 had broken through the gums almost completly and were pushing up agaisnt my back teeth. It hurts like a biatch too, all that stuff they gave me wore off, and now I have to use some prescription I eat with food (which is only milkshakes right now and shallowing is painful). They gave me an IV, but then the last thing I remember is some weird mask they put over my face. The next thing I remember is being walked to the recovery room and saying stuff to the nurse, but I don't know what I said and I doubt it made any sense. I don't remember anything from the morning I had my wisdom teeth pulled. My mom says I was awake and talking after the surgery, but I don't remember that at all. Shaq-Man
i had it the worst, thanks to some heinous bleeding and an infection. oh, and TTIWWP.
Mabdul Doobakus
I got my regular teeth pulled two or three times because the bastards refused to come out on their own. The wisdom teeth experience was no different, and I was fine the next day. Most annoying thing is waiting for the novacaine to wear off. Lefty
I officially feel extremely happy to not have wisdom teeth... You do have them. You just never had them removed. Some people don't need them taken out because they don't interfere...

PBMarlin
You dont need them anyway. The holes in the back of your gums are going to feel weird for quite a while.

Dodge
If they mess up my teeth, I gotta do what I gotta do. But they're pretty much in already and my teeth are good to go. Jackass Chicks dig wisdom teeth.
