I thought he was a good ballplayer.. probably because he owned us '04. I was hoping we'd sign him.. just as good as Gathright is, with a great arm.

It would be nice to be seeing the Marlins doing something...but what is so special about Endy Chavez?? It seems to me that we have the same exact player on the 40 man roster with Eric Reed. I'm still hoping for a Gathright deal, but I would go with Aguila or Reed before Chavez. Just because he killed the Marlins last year isn't enough reason to sign him when his numbers against everyone else were way below ML average.

I don't like him, but he's better than Gathright. I'd rather just have Aguila play CF.

 

Mets have their backup for Beltran now.
