Iowa
Win and they're in: Carolina, Tampa, Washington, Pittsburgh Needs help: Dallas, Kansas City Individual milestones: -Shaun Alexander needs 1 rushing TD to set the single season record. -Neil Rackers needs 1 FG to tie single season NFL Record -Tatum Bell needs 131 yards rushing to get to 1000 yards on the season.. which would make him and Mike Anderson the first duo to each run for 1000 since Earnest Byner and Kevin Mack did it in '85 and the fourth duo of all time. Others going personal milestones: 4000 yards passing: Carson Palmer (3782) 1000 rushing: Domanick Davis (976), Julius Jones (958), Ronnie Brown (886) 1000 yards receiving: Deion Branch (979), Jimmy Smith (977), Eddie Kennison (951), Hines Ward (935), TJ Houshmandzadeh (927) Feel free to add anything else that has to do with your team. I'll add one for the Bears: Thomas Jones needs 27 yards to become the 2nd Bear to run for 1300 yards (Walter Payton)
Hugg
Rudi Johnson needs 60 yards to be the 1st Bengal to rush for 1500. I don't see him, Palmer, or Housmandzadeh getting their marks. They won't play enough. Palmer might not even play at all.

JonDigital
1000 rushing: Domanick Davis (976) Sadly thats not happening either due to him being placed on IR. If Im not mistaken the Phins need 2 sacks to top there previous club record

Hugg
Don't you guys need to win to secure the #3 seed? What happens if you lose and New England wins? They get the 3 seed. Lewis still hasn't said what we're going to do, but he seems to be hinting to the main guys playing a couple series and that's it. We don't seem to care whether we're the 3 or 4. I'd rather have the 4. The 3 seed means we'd play Pittsburgh and if we win go to Denver. The 4 seed means we'd play Jacksonville and go to Indy if we win. We match up much, much better with the latter. I don't really want to play Pittsburgh again. That's not to say I don't think we can win, but I'd rather not have to play them for a 3rd time. Plus, I want revenge with the Jags.

We could do anything from "one and we're done" to going to the AFC Championship. This team is still built for the future and anything we do from the first playoff game is just icing on the cake (as I don't see us going to the Superbowl anyways). But, if we win to go to New England, I'll TAKE IT!
Iowa
I'm still confused though and I'm not trying to make something out of nothing... but I'd want the highest seed no matter what Yes Cincy is built for the future.. and the Bears are built for the future too.. but I still want to win this year very badly. And if there was a chance, no matter how slim it was, that we could host the conference championship game, I'd definitely try to make that happen. The Bengals are too young and need to do a LOT of growing up (rookies and vets). Plus, we've only got a handful of guys with playoff experience. Not the ideal situation. I just want them to challenge these teams. If we win we win.
Iowa
Ok.. so I assume you want the 3 seed than. I guess I got you and Hugg confused. But yea, I think the Bears and Bengals are the two teams that are on the up and up in their respective conferences. I don't think most people realize that we have one of the youngest defenses in the NFL and they're locked up for a long time. Like you said, playoff experience will be big. Can't wait to see how they handle it.
Fishfan79
isnt palmer slightly hurt too anyways? If so better to be careful and not get him ruined for the playoffs. I agree with their idea, it is much smarter.
Iowa
I disagree that its "much smarter" but whatever. I really don't care either way. Anyway
Hugg
Well, I will not be happy if we play our somewhat injured QB on that piece of crap field in Kansas City a week before the playoffs.
Everlong204
The Bears Offense looks completly diffrent now with grossman at the helm. I can see them in the NFC championship game. As for the Bengals, I want to rest the starters, Carson for sure after that groin incident. I dont really care for the #3 seed since our record on the road is actually better then our record at home, and I want revenge on JAX very badly. either way I am just happy I finally get to see a Bengals playoff game

Shaq-Man
-Shaun Alexander needs 1 rushing TD to set the single season record. wonder if he'll get "stabbed in the back" by holmgren again.
PhxPhin
the same holmgren who put him back in the game on the 1 yard line so he could punch in the tying TD in front of the home crowd?!!?
Shaq-Man
the same holmgren who put him back in the game on the 1 yard line so he could punch in the tying TD in front of the home crowd?!!? ...cuz his ass was getting booed like mad by the home crowd. he initially didn't want to put him back in. PhxPhin
says who?! he took a TO to think about it and to make sure shaun was ready btw - the crowd wasn't booing, they were yelling for shaun all MH told him was to get his helmet, he only has 1 chance and if he gets injured he would never talk to him again there was no doubt that shaun was going to get that carry also in the game last year there was over 6 minutes left in the game, shaun had fumbled on the goal line a game or two before ..... seattle wanted to mix it up, score a TD, secure the division and thought they'd get the ball back doesn't matter though .. he'll get the rushing title this year and already has an NFL record and maybe even an MVP
