September 3, 200323 yr PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THEY CONTINUE TO PITCH TO KENDALL.. :banghead Jack please keep your comments about what the team is going to do to the Pirates until after the game or kept it inside the clubhouse I'm dumbfounded this team can't beat the Pirates
September 3, 200323 yr PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THEY CONTINUE TO PITCH TO KENDALL.. :banghead He's not Barry Bonds. Case closed.
September 3, 200323 yr Author Are sure? He sure looks like Bonds against us. Plus, he's batting like over .400 against the Marlins this season and .500 with RISP. Thats all they have.. please lets get a clue

Thats all they have.. please lets get a clue He doesn't hit like Bonds just because of the other teams jersey. I think you're being somewhat too supersticios.
September 3, 200323 yr Author Common Card, please tell you don't think that...there are alot of players that own other teams.Example Edmonds owns the Astros. I heard Ausmus talking about that fact on a radio interview. They tried everything he says, they giveup according to Ausmus. Players do have teams number from time to time and that seems to be the case with Kendall.
September 3, 200323 yr Unless he knows what pitch is coming all the time against Florida, than the jersey should make no difference. We just played them, he could just be hot. Example: Luis Castillo.
September 3, 200323 yr Author Well Kendall 3 and the Marlins 2, o by the way 10-15 against the Marlins this season.
September 3, 200323 yr If we had gone around Kendall, they would have not scored the runs they did. he has all 3 RBI and that is a fact.
September 3, 200323 yr Stupid Pirates!!! :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead Every offense is allowed to have an off-night, but the inability of this team to hit against a POOR team like the Pirates is inexplicable.
September 3, 200323 yr Author I think its was the hardhead decision by McKeon to pitch to Kendall with RISP. bottomline :banghead Shamrock they walk Kendall the score is 2-1 Marlins
September 3, 200323 yr I could only watch the first few innings because I had work at the sorority house(woo) but that first inning still is haunting me...freakin JP on third with one out and we couldnt bring him in.
September 3, 200323 yr If we had gone around Kendall, they would have not scored the runs they did. that is a fact. dumbest thing i have ever seen
September 3, 200323 yr lol...you guys are making kendall out to be barry freakin bonds like some other poster mentioned. This team just happens to be getting good starting pitching against us with enough luck on the offensive end to get a win out of it. I dont like the fact that Ghoulian Tavarez made us look silly.
September 3, 200323 yr Author It looks like Niner is having a tough time adjusting to the NL. 0-2 tonight with RISP
September 3, 200323 yr It looks like Niner is having a tough time adjusting to the NL. 0-2 tonight with RISP after 2 games Ed? puh leaze
September 3, 200323 yr It looks like Niner is having a tough time adjusting to the NL. 0-2 tonight with RISP Just some bad luck for the niner...the ball he hit in the first was sharply hit, but right at the SS.
September 3, 200323 yr Cabs and A-Gon need to make some adjustments and quick or else this offense is going to be slow going.
September 3, 200323 yr Just like Glavine make Redmond look like the Babe :lol I could understand individual pitcher/batter dominance like the Red/Glavine ordeal, but for one team to dominate another is more far fetched. Some batters hit certain pitches then others and some just hit every pitch well (Vlad) so if he gets some luck it could look like hes dominating a certain team/pitcher. Take that for what its worth :lol
September 3, 200323 yr Author Ramp I agree its just 2 Games BUT it takes some guys entire seasons to adjust to league changes. Niner hasn't been in the NL in 6yrs. Its something to look at thats all. I hope I'm wrong.
September 3, 200323 yr Author Its a fact that players hit better against other teams . Read my example its a fact against any player.

I hope I'm wrong. Despite my cynical remarks I want Jeff to succeed over here. But there are definitely obstacles like the park change...going from a hitters park to a pitchers park and of course being removed from the league 6yrs will definitely present many new pitchers to a hitter. I hope he adjusts quick because we need his freakin bat. Made a nice catch today at least!
September 3, 200323 yr Its a fact that players hit better against other teams . Read my example its a fact against any player. I understand its a fact I just attribute it to MOSTLY luck as opposed to an innate skill of the hitter to hit a certain club well. The occastions where this wouldnt hold true is if a hitter hits a certain group of pitchers well and they are clumped on one team.
