It had real cultural significance at the time of it's release, kind of like what "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was for my generation but for my parents. Catchy tune, instantly recognizable.

March 30, 200620 yr 1812 Overture. Say what you want, it stirs feelings in EVERYONE. Nice try on the classical stuff, but the 1812 Overture isn't a song. It's a piece. :mischief And the best song ever is Stairway to Heaven, Wish You Were Here or Something. Choose one of those, and you have it.
