Best song ever

Featured Replies

I want just one post and one answer from everyone... I'll start off with:

"While My Guitar Gently Weeps" by The Beatles

Run-DMC - Run's House

I could listen to this song forever.

Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd.

Still.

My favorite song ever is Time by Pink Floyd.

Now, the best song ever: I'd say either Ode to Joy or O Fortuna. Two real good songs that have lasted forever.

not really a known song from a half way decent songwritter on one of his many little side projects ... its a good tune with great lyrics about life

Lukewarm by New End Original

Best song ever is really hard to say. But some of my top favorites are

Beautiful Day U2

Dream on

Stan Eminem with Elton john

Margaritaville

Margaritaville? I like Jimmy Buffett, but that's a stretch.

I'll go with Satisfaction by the Stones. It had real cultural significance at the time of it's release, kind of like what "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was for my generation but for my parents. Catchy tune, instantly recognizable.

i love Mawell's "Lifetime".

not sure about it being my favorite but im listening to it now and i had forgotten how much i love that song.

I've determined there isn't such thing as a best song ever because there are/were just too many talented artists out there with amazing songs, so I'll just say the newest addition to my top songs list.

"Watermelon in Easter Hay" by Frank Zappa

One of the most emotional guitar solos I've ever heard. Check it out

Jimmy Buffet and me just mesh i love his music. You can never win with anyone on this board. I mean this is an opinion thread if you like it say agree if you dont just STFU and say some of your songs that you like. But no some people just want trouble.

The best Jimmy Buffet song is easily "A Pirate Looks at Forty"

I think the best song of all time.... Whitney Houston - "I will always love you"

The Beatles - "A Day in the Life"

Hard question since my opinion will vary from week to week.

Right now, its Beyond the Sun by Shinedown and Back Then by Mike Jones.

im listening to Breakout by Sean Paul right now so ill mention it.

"Total eclipse of the heart" by Bonnie Tyler.

Not the best karaoke song, the best song, sweetie. ;)

1812 Overture. Say what you want, it stirs feelings in EVERYONE.

Nice try on the classical stuff, but the 1812 Overture isn't a song. It's a piece. :mischief

And the best song ever is Stairway to Heaven, Wish You Were Here or Something. Choose one of those, and you have it.
