to win...1,750 dollars.

Why didn't you make it a round 10?

Because I put in 20 bucks with a 2 dollar bonus...so i made it an even 15 left.

My sportsbook has the over/under at 64.5, which makes the over a decent play, IMO. The main thing that worries me is an injury to D-Train or Cabs that sends the team into a tailspin, but you could say that about pretty much any club with two superstars expected to carry the team.

so glad i put $5 on Mason to make the final 4.....:plain

I bet 5 that they'd win the division. I can win 225. We'll see. :lol

Smarter than winning the World Series in my opinion...

What are your guys sportsbooks? Besides Bodog...

My sportsbook is Bodog. These bets on the Fish are the first bets I've made on a sportsbook.

Do any of you actually make money betting on sports? If so, what's your secret? I made 4 minimum bets on Bodog and lost all of them.

I lost like 20 bucks on the NFL playoffs.

And I'm about even for the Tourney, will definitely put money on FLorida if they make it to the Finals.

I was up over 500 dollars after throwing a ton on Ohio State in the Alamo Bowl in 2004. We were the underdogs in one of the more laughable lines ever.

But I blew it all. :lol

The total I've lost on betting is probably not pretty, but it's fun and I never went outside of my means. I'm pretty much done with it as a regular thing at this point.

I'm ahead over $100,000 in my life overall in all sports. But that's mainly horse racing. I'm up a little in baseball. And I've lost a lot in football. I think the under 64 is a cinch bet. The number should be 54 in my opinion. But I just can't bet against my Marlins, and as green as they are, there's still some chance they can win 65 or more.

You're ahead 100k in your life? How old are you, and how do you keep track of that? (Serious question)

I'm up, but not by a huge amount - probably less than a grand, and gambling is the type of thing that could change quickly. I try to stay away from parlays when I bet.

you are smarter man than I.

I'm a little above even and the secret is that if I bet with my heart an not with my head, I have to find a "sure thing" to make up that stupidity.

Every NFL week there's one "sure thing" and I just bet the moneyline and stay away from the spread.

Baseball's a little harder to stay ahead or even simply because of the flukiness/frequency of the sport and unforseeable bullpen involvement.

See, I'm 0-4 on 4 bets I thought were sure things.

Those were spreads, though. Maybe I should stick to moneylines. I have a feeling I'm not cut out for this sh*t, though.

I joined an office pool for $20 to win $500 if I got first place. I was doing horrible in my bracket but all of a sudden, we get an email update saying that I was one of the finalists. I would've won it all if UF won AND UCLA lost. I was dying last night when UF won, but I sure was pissed when LSU were playing crappy and lost. :(
