April 5, 200620 yr The NFL schedules come out tomorrow afternoon. There will be a 2 hour show on the NFL network, but the schedules will probably get leaked before that as they do every year. So by tomorrow morning we will know who is playing where.
April 5, 200620 yr I would expect a Steelers-Bengals primetime game in the 2nd half of the season. The NFL planned on opening the season with that, but we informed them Palmer was unlikely to play, so they scrapped it.
April 5, 200620 yr Yes, it is. We come down there. I get to see Vick live, looking forward to that. Although not the part where our defense looks stupid. Of course, it looked stupid a lot this year, so I'm used to it.
April 5, 200620 yr This year will have flexible scheduling for the first time. The initial schedule will not have Sunday night games from week 10 on. The Sunday night matchup will be determined at least two weeks ahead of time and only Sunday afternoon games can be moved to Sunday night. Also, Fox and CBS can protect of certain number of games that they dont want moved.

April 6, 200620 yr I think the Dolphins got a favorable schedule. Man, I hope I'm home for that Christmas night game against the Jets. That will be mega awesome. This really is an easy schedule. The three road games in a row are tough, but that just means more home games later on in the year. An 8-0 home record is definitely within reach, too.

I'm not expecting much from the Bills this year, but if they are inexplicably in the playoff race at the end of the year, the last month's schedule is reasonably favorable. They have no national TV appearances, either, but it's not like they deserved any after last year.

I don't think the Vikings and tough belong in the same sentence. Jags and Patriots will be tough games, though.

I know they finished off hot winning 6 in a row, but 4 of those wins were with teams with 11 or more losses and 1 against the patriot backups. They should still be a decent team so we'll have to wait and see how Culpepper plays

But none of those teams are that great that the Dolphins shouldn't beat them. The Pats seem to be coming back to the pack quite a bit. The Jags are pretty one-dimensional. Even if the Phins are overrated, they should make the playoffs with this cupcake schedule. The Jets, Texans, Titans, and Packers should all be horrendous. That SHOULD be 5 wins right there. Take out those 5 games and that leaves you 6 games at home and 5 on the road. Go 4-2 in the home games, and win just one on the road...and you're already 10-6. Anything less than 10 wins would be a major disappointment.
