I just downloaded the new MVP 2005: MLB 06 Living Large mod by MVPMODS and it is amazing, more than 6,000 mods and whatnot are included in it and it's like a totally new game. Download the MLB 06 Living Large mod and also the latest edition of the UltimateRosters v6.1 Plus Edition rosters and you will have a brand new game, better than anything EA could have ever released even if they did make an MLB game for 2006.

Here are the steps you must take:

1) Before you download or install any of this, you must completely uninstall MVP 2005 and then give it a fresh install.

2) Download and install the official EA patches 1, 2, and 3 in order which can be found here: http://mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Downloads&c=28

3) Download and install the MLB 06 Living Large the mod here: http://mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Download...details&id=2845

4) Download and install UltimateRosters v6.1 Plus Edition rosters here: http://mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Download...details&id=2807

so if you dont have MVP you cant download this?

You need to own MVP 2005 for the PC.

You can get it for like $9.99 in the bargain bin at EBGames now.

I tried it once and nothing happened, probably because I never unistalled/reinstalled the game. Thanks for the info though, Ill definitely try it again.

I did everything you worte, but when its time to reun the MVP06-LL file I get an error message that says; setup failed to copy .csm file. What do you think this is?

Good to see it looks like you got your installation files working (I saw your post on MVPMODS, but didn't have a solution).

Yeah, it was a pain but I finally got it to work, had to copy all the files from the disk to my PC then install from there as if it was a virtual drive.

There are two MVP06 mods, both are identical but they use two different installation methods because some people have been having trouble with MVP06-LL. Download MVP06-ILF (In Like Flint) and you shouldn't have any issues with installing it.

Accord, is the conversion final? Last I checked it was still in beta and such

They decided to just have the beta be the final version. They were going to incorporate their own rosters into the final version and release it on opening day, but they just decided to keep it as is and let people get their own rosters.

MLB 07 conversion mod is out at mvpmods.com It is awesome how talented some of the amateur programmers are that made these mods. The cyberfaces for hanley, dontrelle, and miggy look great. Im in the brewers series and De aza is leading the league in steals and d-train just had a 8 ip, 2 hitter, 11 k game against the phils.

how do i get it for xbox???

FYI, I've been working with the guy that does the stadium mod for Dolphin Stadium for MVP07 ("hyman"). This is the third straight year we've collaborated to do the Dolphin Stadium mod. He now has all the updates to the stadium ads and other features and will have his 2007 updates to Dolphin Stadium due out soon (he's finishing up Yankee Stadium).
