This win felt good...I mean, really good.

It's much bigger than win #1, because we stopped the bleeding and really put a shallacking on the Pads. It was nice to see a blowout and production from our rookies. I hope this win jumpstarts the team, but it's nice just to be in the win column again. I was starting to fear one of those 1-12 starts.

Vargas really did well today, and that has to help lift the confidence of the rest of the staff. We shall see...

GO FISH

Well it was against Brazelton, but regardless...

Front of the lineup is looking really strong. Hanley, Hammer, Cabs, even Uggla got into the act today. I was starting to worry that Jacobs might be a little too much of an all-or-nothing hitter, but the walks today were good to see. Plus if he's gonna hit 3-run jacks every few games, I'll take it.

also good to see Vargas get back on track. Still had to battle, but he fought his way past some walks & gave us a good 6 innings.

Reed with another 0-4. If both he & Abercrombie can't hit, that doesn't bode well for Hammer catching. We're left with just Hermida and Aguila in the outfield. Might see a little more of Matt Treanor in the future too.

Awesome win today, Hanley and Hammer are impressing every game.

Hopefully we can build on the win & Dontrelle can do his thing tomorrow night. I'll be there :thumbup

I was there and they were awesome. The looked energetic and having fun. Plus they hit great, all they hit was hard, even outs. And they did it agains the relievers also not only Brazelton.

Hofully we can build from it and do it again tomorrow.

Well it was against Brazelton, but regardless...

hey, if i remember correctly, he schooled us a couple years ago

you do remember correctly

"Obviously we've lost a bunch of tough games this year," first-year manager Joe Girardi said. "Then we pretty much got blown out two days in a row. For our guys to bounce back, it says something about our guys. ... Guys picked it up."

They'll be doing a lot of "bouncing back" this year but it's good that they don't get too down on themselves and can still prevent a sweep. They should just care about having fun out there and not how many wins and losses they have.

It was a much needed win. I called my mom while at work to see what the score was. I was so happy when she said "9-2 Marlins" :woot . I am so proud of our guys.

I don't know. It reminds me of last year's team. Win big in a blow out and then win a bunch of close ones. I would rather see us win a few close games.

Great win, and on with the Nats tomorrow night. They got shelled today by the Mets, so it will be interesting to see how they react to their loss, and if we can keep the mo from our win.

This win was awesome, team really played well and the bats came along. Happy that they won and I hope we can carry this into the Nats series. I really hope I can go to Saturdays game or so. I just dont feel like hearing the game on Radio
