Attendance

Featured Replies

12,913....that is the largest 12k crowd I have ever seen.

I have to agree. There is no way the attendance was that low. Perhaps 22,913?

I was there.

No way that was 12,000. No way.

Did they announce the attendance on the scoreboard?

No. (if they did I missed it) They certainly didn't do the usual pick one thing.

I know in the past the fans who do attend the game are so awesome they make it seem like there are twice as many people there.

FSN's camera shots showed most lower deck seats full.

LMAO...there weren't 12k people in that stadium, more like 20k. I was impressed. Most of the area between third and first was packed. The Power Alley was empty and the club level was decent. They were packed in in the Fish Tank and the upper deck was 40% full behind home.

If you really believe that the Panthers are averaging 15,000+ fans in the building then I have swamp-land for you.

How much ?

I just looked at the box score and saw it said 12,913 which I find really hard to believe as well. I thought it easily had to be 20k. They didn't announce the attendance at the game so I was wondering about that and I find 12,913 really hard to believe.

I was there in didnt look like 12+ no mor than 20k though...

So it's not just in South Fla where the attendance is down.

I was watching the Braves play the other night and for such a popular team, the stands were next to empty. I'm willing to bet the only opening day game that sold out was at Fenway.

Why does no one go to baseball games anymore?

I agree, that figure HAS to be a mistake. That was over 20k without question. I just couldn't believe that number when I heard it on the radio driving home.... :headscratch

I was there, and it looked like 20-22k

There were 12 k there during batting practice maybe
