April 15, 200620 yr Author Looks like it is filling in a bit. Perhaps they'll make 25K. It's Dontrelle they should get 20-25 K
April 15, 200620 yr 12,913....that is the largest 12k crowd I have ever seen. I have to agree. There is no way the attendance was that low. Perhaps 22,913?

April 15, 200620 yr I know in the past the fans who do attend the game are so awesome they make it seem like there are twice as many people there.

April 15, 200620 yr LMAO...there weren't 12k people in that stadium, more like 20k. I was impressed. Most of the area between third and first was packed. The Power Alley was empty and the club level was decent. They were packed in in the Fish Tank and the upper deck was 40% full behind home.
April 15, 200620 yr If you really believe that the Panthers are averaging 15,000+ fans in the building then I have swamp-land for you. How much ?
April 15, 200620 yr I just looked at the box score and saw it said 12,913 which I find really hard to believe as well. I thought it easily had to be 20k. They didn't announce the attendance at the game so I was wondering about that and I find 12,913 really hard to believe. I was there in didnt look like 12+ no mor than 20k though...
April 15, 200620 yr So it's not just in South Fla where the attendance is down. I was watching the Braves play the other night and for such a popular team, the stands were next to empty. I'm willing to bet the only opening day game that sold out was at Fenway. Why does no one go to baseball games anymore?
April 15, 200620 yr Author See...they are already fudging on the attendance. Loria's plan is working.

No way. I agree, that figure HAS to be a mistake. That was over 20k without question. I just couldn't believe that number when I heard it on the radio driving home.... :headscratch
April 15, 200620 yr I was there, and it looked like 20-22k There were 12 k there during batting practice maybe
