Has he finally been released or do we still have him?

Last report he left spring training to go live with his mother in NC. I suppose the team still owns his rights.

What a shame, guys, anyhow can you please get me an OLD scouting report of him when he first was drafted? How fast was his fastball? They at one point wrote him up as the Marlins future number 1 starter, what a waste. Sound alot like that guy the Devil Rays drafted aswell, was it Josh Hamilton or Hamilton, forgot.

I saw on Baseball America he was placed on the restricted list. But so was Ronald Belisario too!?!!? Anyone know whats up with that????

Good find on Belisario :thumbup I been trying to find info on him for awhile. I even sent Mike Berardino

and email once and he said that he wasn't sure but he thought he was released by the club.

 

Last I heard of him before this was that he was rehabbing with Lincoln Holdzkom in Jupiter. Belisario once upon a time possed the #1 FB in the entire system(95-96). Scouts projected him as a closer/set-up and compared him to a young Alfonseca, but the Marlins saw him as a starter.
