April 25, 200620 yr How low can we go..... I think Hollys right, at this time, our bull pen was worse last year. I can remember it all too much.

April 25, 200620 yr Girardi hasn't been with the team long, he WILL improve his skills as a manager. Let's just hope he doesn't take the whole season to hone those skills.
April 25, 200620 yr We'll probably lose another 85-90 games this year. Some games the bullpen will give up, like tonite. Others the defense will fail us, as we've seen. Many games the starter will do poorly, and we're in a bad position to be a come from behind team. Some close games we'll lose by small mental mistakes....like pickoffs. Some we'll lose 'cause we won't have that bat off the bench needed at the end. Believe me, by the end of the year you'll see just about every possible way to lose. From what I've heard tonite was an overall success. The starter did well. The defense did very well. And I heard we even got some respect from ESPN. This is one to blame on the bullpen, but be happy with the defense and Vargas. Stop looking at wins as the be all and end all. Beinfest doesn't care, why should we? It just doesn't matter this year.

April 25, 200620 yr Author ok i know the loses that weve ahd have been absolutley disheartening but look the mets are down 3-0 and the braves and nats lost so basically we could not lose anything on the division which is wat counts...... but damn it we need these games. we could be ahead of the mets already
April 25, 200620 yr We just have to remember one thing, things will get better. The guys will start meshing, the bullpen will get better as Giradi becomes familiar with who to use when. Everyone was predicting us to be last and be terrible. I think the Marlins already showed that they are playing above and beyond expectations. These losses come down to an inconsistent bullpen. And if they remain inconsistent the bad ones will go and new faces will come. Let's enjoy baseball how its supposed to be played, everyone of the team is playing their hearts out. I'd watch these Marlins over those overpriced wuss Yankees anyday
