I know a lot of people are going to be calling for Wes Helms to start a 1st instead of Jacobs

I don't see it happening and because of that it doesnt matter whether I think he should or not. The team is developing Jacobs and to bring in a vet doesnt make sense for the franchise at this point.

Maybe Jacobs needs to get some at bats in AAA. He looks very over matched so far

Although, Helms may be the better option for this year. You gotta let the young guy play, he's got the talent to be a good player and we've got to give him a chance to play to that talent.

I am of the opinion that as long as you are getting at bats it doesn't matter whether it is in AAA or the big club. We aren't out there to win (I don't care what Joe says), so with that in mind it will only help in the long run to learn against a MLB level pitcher.

Wont happened and it shouldnt happen.. Jacobs is not experienced... Something he needs to get... helms is a vertan and thats why he was brought on this team.. to teach and come up with some key hits

Why replace Jacobs with Helms when we can replace him with Stokes?

I love Helms, but only way I want to see him starting, and it WILL happen, is by them moving Cabrera back to LF/RF, with Helms playing thrid full time.
