Fish Fillet
Good info Ramp.... God the Reds are a bunch of wet stains. The key has got to be the Fish performing better against the Braves in their series than the Phillies do.
Ramp
dont mock the Reds pitchers..... they may surprise all of us(well, not me) but most of you
Hugg
Van Poppel's been pitching pretty well since moving into the rotation, plus...don't forget what a huge prospect that guy is. :thumbup Those matchups seem to favor the Fish, but hey, what else would I say? Admin
Really need help from the Reds here.

CapeFish
Frankly, I expect the Reds to get mowed over. Can't expect any more than that, we need to go out there and totally kill the Braves. Tooner Field, here we come.

Hotcorner
lol, yeah I caught that Hugg. Harang's not too bad though. Somebody fix up Griffey Jr and roll his crippled asss out there.
Fish Fillet
Forget Ken Jr. Roll Johnny B., Morgan and Charlie Hustle out there for the series. Kinda like a reunion series. I know Sparky would be down to manage for a couple.
Hugg
Actually, I think Van Poppel is our best hope for victory (how sad is that?), if only because he's matched up with Telemaco.
Fish Fillet
Telemaco is a rag. Isn't this his pushed-back start due to injury, too? Van Poppel is the man! (Or not)

Fightin' Phils
Phils *always* have problems with no-name pitchers.
Hugg
Who the hell is Van Poppel? Huge prospect for the A's in the early 90's (I think, might be mid-90's), never really panned out, floated around the minors for a while. Ended up with the Cubs, became a pretty solid middle reliever, went to the Rangers, where pitchers go to die...died, got released, Reds signed him, put him in the pen, he sucked, they sent him down, now he's back, as a starter and may be pitching his way into a look for next year. Tried to keep it simple.

Hotcorner
Phils *always* have problems with no-name pitchers. in that case, the Reds will completely and utterly destroy the Phillies.
Rune
Cape, were you being sarcastic? VP is considered The Biggest bust of any sport EVER. The only reason he wasn't a #1 because he told The Braves they couldn't afford him so THe Braves got Chipper. Pretty good deal.
Nielsosky
I still remember when the Phillies were swept by Milwaukee, and Cincy is definitely better than the Brew Crew. The Reds were able to sweep the Marlins in one first-half series, and Philadelphia hhas a worse time with bad teams than good teams for some reason. Ramp
Since August 1: Reds 16-29 Tigers 10-35 Brewers>>>>>Reds
flasportsfan88
the brew crew is way better than the reds, the brew crew is somewhat explosive with sexson and other veterans, and a rotation with roots unlike the reds whos rotation has been tossed around like like a salad. The Reds swept us before Operation: Implosion when they dismantled their entire team and the rest of their good players (minus Sean Casey) got hurt. But yes, the Phils do seem to play to the level of their competition a lot, hope they continue that trend.
