Do you have any Marlins memories from the early years that you remember? Not WS or playoffs just random games. They don't have to be good memories, just things that you remember.

I remember when Pat Rapp (I am 99% sure it was him) gave up 7 runs in the first inning to Colorado. I was laying on the couch listening to the radio because it wasnt on t.v.

Another memory was then the Marlins played that LONG extra inning game.. I think it went like 17/18 innings. I went out to eat with my friends family and when we came back the game was still on. I will always remember that.

Also when that skunk was on the field. :lol .

Personal marlin memory but May 20, 1999. 14 innings vs the Pirates. It was after a long rain delay too, because it was like midnight in the 12th or 13th and my uncle and me had moved to the 1st row behind the fish dugout since about 10 people remained at the game. Preston came over looking dead tired and my uncle said to him "Wanna finish this, we got work tomorrow" and PW gave him a smirk. Lee finished it soon after with a walkoff hit to the OF. That game ruled.

Another one from sometime that week although I forget which game... we sat next to the Marlins pen and back then if some of you remember you were able to sit closer and actually right next to the guys sitting there on the back of the pen. Some little kid in the section overheard my uncle pointing out to me that Alfonseca's jersey seems a lot less loose than the other guys, a little snug and the kid goes over to Antonio and tells him "That man said you're fat" and after that Antonio was playfully spitting sunflower seeds in our direction... good times.

I remember watching the Marlins in Baltimore and seeing Jesus Sanchez pitch one hell of a game.....That was the night Ryan Dempster signed a Marlins hat for me which is to this day in a case.

Don't remember if it was opening day '03 or '04 but I distinctly remember sitting in the stands listening to the constant jeers of:

Wait for my montage video. You'll see some old school stuff.

Hopefully we will see Greg Colbrunn in that video.

I want some Chuck Smith and Vladimir Nunez

I know he's everyone's "Most Hated Ex-Marlin" but I will always remember AJ's No-No back in 2000.

Obviously the one thing that sticks out is the 9 walks but for me personally, I was in Europe and I missed the game but I saw the game summary in a USA Today while in Monte Carlo.

I remember being SO pissed that I missed it because I spent so many nights that summer watching/listening to us get rocked.

I remember spending 6 hours in a rain soaked Mets-Marlins game because I knew it would be Floyd's last game as a Marlin.

Oh, and who could forget "Colonel" Klink?

I was at a game, had to be 96. Where Kurt Abbott went up the line and missed first base, but the player never had the ball as it was thrown over, so Kurt slid back head first into first in a bang bang play and was safe.

And I was also at the Game where Gary Sheffield either hit 40, 41, or 42. I don't remember the exact number that it was. All I know was that it was in the 40s.

There are so many memories.

I remember sitting even with the pitcher's mound six rows up, 1 row behind the Founders Club, John Cangelosi hit a line drive directly at me and my friend, we just get out of the way of the line drive and it hit the lady behind us. This was 1997 Baltimore vs Marlins at then PPS.

I was at the Rockies game when Galaragga hit that mamouth home run to straight away center, still the longest homer ever at Dolphins Stadium.

I remember going to a Bat-Mitzfah*sp the girls parents had limos pick up all the kids and take them to the party at night. I remember there was a TV in the limo and we were watching the Marlins game on the way to the party. Pendelton was up to bat against the Braves in Atlanta and I said he was gonna hit an opposite field homer and guess what, he hit an oppo homer! Ill never forget that.

I remember heckling Andruw Jones in the Fish Tank in 2002, I was really dogging him all game. He made such an awesome inning ending catch in the gap in right center, he turns around in front of me with this grin(yeah Im good and what, type of grin) and tosses the ball to me.

Also in 2002, I was sitting out in the Fish Tank with my dad. The next day in the Herald I was photographed with Kevin Millar catching a fly ball right in front of me. The caption read (All alone, Almost). My dad wasnt pictured just me and a whole lot of empty seats and Kevin Millar. That was awesome.

Ill never ever forget the Inaugural Game in 1993, the 1997 WS and the 2003 WS.

Miggy's Homer off Clemens in game 4 of the 2003 WS. Alex's walk off homer off of Jeff Weaver in Game 4 of the 2003 WS.

Paul LoDuca's first AB with the Marlins.

There are soooooo many more memories.

and just s much for Mikey Lowell

Last season. October 1st I think Vs the Braves. The Fish came back and won the game while TJ picked up save 40. It was the second game I went to that season but I was so glad we won. It was after a LONG delay. I think the delay was about 2 and a half hours. Can't remember. We were gonna leave so many times but they kept telling us that the game would start again soon. So we were losing and then the Fish came back to win. I recorded the last few ABs along with a Julio Franco strikeout on my digitial camera. I also got the Hermida home run. Awesome.

if im not mistaking, i believe it was a grand slam

Now that you remind me, yes I think is was.

my favorites were:

1. 5/10/05 I was batboy for the game against the 'stros. The best day of my life, hands down. (I was supposed to be the regular batboy for 2003, but after Dusty Baker's fu*king son's incident, i was told, after i'd been offered the job that i was now too young..) anyway, it was incredible i got high fives from cabs mikey lowell and all the players ..i got to touch their equipment . i talked to dontrelle. it was soo cool to see the game from that view, i had THE best seat in the house, better than the dugout. it was incredible to see how fast pitches are ...wow

2. my dad picked me up from school one day (3rd grade). he told me he had someone he wanted me to meet. we went to his office and he gave me a baseball and a pen. he told me he was going to introduce me to a minor league baseball player for the marlins. he took me in and there was this guy standing there- he was huge. he shook my hand and asked what my name was and said hi, jeff ,my name's Derrek Lee. he then signed my ball...that was soooo cool. this was before he had made his MLB debut.

3. i go to gate A all the time to get autographs, so i know all of the players cars. on this one street, after we left, i looked to my right and there was luis castillo in his red BMW. i waved to him and he waved back. i looked around me and there was andy fox's green suburban in front of me, brad penny's truck was to my left. and a few more guys were around me --i've since forgotten who else. i followed luis and the other marlins to the airport and ended up meeting the entire team and getting autographs.....awesome

It was.

I was also there for Livan's first career homer I believe. At JRS.
