Jason has a minor right oblique strain and was taken out of the game tonight after 3 innings and 60 pitches...1st degree strain...should not be a problem....hopefully

poor guy has been having problems ever since his first few starts last year.

That stinks. I hope he has a speedy recovery.

What a relief that there's nothing wrong with his arm. Hopefully they give him all the time he needs to recover from this so it wont be a lingering problem, because that's where it would become serious.

Sux. I have been a fan. Hope he gets it going and we have another quality starter. Willis, JJ, Nolasco, Olsen, Mo/Mitre/Vargas sounds like some decent options if we keep it up.

Be happy it's not his elbow or shoulder.

I doubt Vargas will be starting for us again. Unless something unforutnate happens.

 

 

Vargas' best role for us is as a second lefty in the bully to go along with Tank.

His arm is healthy thats all that counts...it affects his mechanics more than anything...it is probably a blessing in disguise for him. He will be able to come back from it better than ever
