Tonight, I have been forced too say goodbye

THE FOLLOWING IS A TRAGIC, BUT TRUE STORY, DRAMATICLY PRESENTED. PLEASE READ IN A BRITISH ACCENT.

Gents, tonight my ipod and cellphone went for a dip in the pool, and were unable to make it back out alive. Oh what a faithful iPod it was, running at 22hrs, about 2 weeks per charge, never a single prob, hacked and customised.

The mini was in its case with every single hold covered up, and only submerged for 10 seconds or so, but it was too late. I now venture into a future of silent car rides, vacations, and other time eaters *blows nose*.

Unless a miracle could bring it back, i'll most likely go a until 07' without one.

RIP

It will be officially pronounced dead if no sign of life is shown by midnight friday, so the funeral is scheduled for saturday. You can help cover the funeral by sending 30$.. ok kidding...

EXPLANATION FOR DUMMIESL iPod + Water = No iPod

Maybe I'm behind the times but I have never even seen an ipod.

Sucks though dude, go all 80s and carry a giant boom box on your shoulder.

I, myself, need a cell phone...i have went through 3. Havent had a working one since march, but I did save the little card with all the phone #s in my phone book for once though.

Ouch, I'm sorry dude.

A year ago I left my cellphone in my shorts pocket and it got washed. Didn't work for a couple of days but it came back to life. I have been using it since. Hopefully the samething will happen to your ipod.

DAY 2 - Cell might have a chance, ipod seems all but dead

I dont know if you saw, but the cover of the miami herald either on monday or tuesday, had something on Ipod repairs. Maybe you could take it to someone to try and repair. I know that you can trade in broken ones and get credit. I will see if I can find the website for you.

If you've never seen an I-Pod you may want to consider returning to the planet Earth.

You could try buying a CD player that can play MP3s from burned CDs. That way you can burn your MP3 collection and have a backup in case your PC ever gets fried.

Walkman CD Players with MP3 and the CD-Rs to burn shouldn't cost too much allowing you to save up for that new iPod.
