CONGRATULATIONS to all of us Marlins fans who hung in there through good and bad over the years.

 

To those of us who posted on the ORIGINAL Marlins Message Board (remember that? - Admin, Yenta, Cyggy, 1TrueFan, Fan4Life, Chatty, and so many many more......), back in the day when our boys were losing over 100 games per year.........

 

WAY TO GO!!!!!!! We deserve this playoff berth!

 

This is a day that brings tears to so many of our eyes. Win or lose - we should be very very proud.

Hey, dont pat yourselves on the back. Save some for the guys who have been here all along - Penny, Lee, Castillo (from top to bottom to top again), Lowell, Gonzalez, Beckett, Burnett, Looper. These guys have had their share of pain and losing, now they get to win - and you get the feeling they dont want to stop just yet. No one is playing better right now than the Marlins.

And win or lose, hopefully there is no dismantling this time.....

This has been along time coming for all Marlins fans and we should be very proud, no matter what happens next season. This is our time and its now playoff time!

I am so proud of our MARLINS. Many times over the years I would feel so bad for the players especially in 1998 when they just weren't ready to contend with the big boys but it sure feels good to see that these same players have now grown up and are so talented. Jack McKean has been wonderful for this team. He doesn't rant and rave but in his own quiet way he lets the players know what he wants and they definitely respond to him. I can't wait for the play offs. GO MARLINS!

I also endure those number of losing year and now I know it was worth watching all those prospect become players.
