Dontrelle couldn't hold a 5-1 lead.

*Cough* Reggie and Josh's boneheaded miscommunication *cough*

That is Reggie's ball, and that has nothing to do with me being a Reggie homer.

If the CFer calls it, it is his ball.

The same thing goes for the SS on the infield.

Exactly right.

Are you two the President and Vice President of possibly the worst starting CF's fan club in the history of baseball?

He's not even the worst starting CFer in baseball right now.

I'd rather have Gathright or Anderson on my team.

Dontrelle couldn't hold a 5-1 lead.

Hot your kidding right?

Why does he have to be kidding? There's plenty of blame to go around on this one. Dontrelle may have gotten a little two comfortable out there with the 5-1 lead. And while that gaffe between Reggie and Willingham wasn't pretty, it's definately not the easiest ball to play in the outfield either.

And I don' see how people can find blame for everyone but Logan Kensing. His fastballs have absolutely no movement on them whatsoever.

Whatever, the team has to put this one behind them and set the alarms early for tommorow. We should get this one back after not having to go too deep into the pen, and getting Cabs out of his slump.

I get your Reggie logic. If he's gonna be in the bigs he may as well start.

But this blind Reggie worship by some people is getting really ****** annoying.

The guy rolls one to the plate like Kingpin and is a major player in the play that lost the game tonight and we have to listen to people talk about him like he is the second coming of Willie Mays.

The ball was extremely wet after it roll over the wet grass toward Reggie. I feel fortunate that the outcome wasn't worst like overthrowing the catcher.

it did pour for like 4 minutes, the ball was soaking wet when it got to Reggie

when robert fick hits a home run it means you are bound to lose lol :banghead

Give Fick a hand. That was one tough pitch to hit let alone for a home run.

Question: How many departments of propaganda and misinformation can one organization have?

This game could be the forgotten game on so many levels.

Forgotten that Cabrera was 4-4 with 2 RBI and a walk.

Forgotten that Hanley hit a great home run, and forgot that he is injured and day-to-day.

Forgotten that we got bailed out from an obvious HBP.

Forgotten that we were "0-2" after IBB.

Now let's just forget this game and move on.

haha.. many :whistle

Jake was just swinging from his heels. Hermida was too patient and it came back to bite him in the ... Can't pin the whole game on those two outs, though.

i knew it was over when hermida took a fastball right down the pipe for strike 2.

Reggie: .216 BA, .624 OPS, 11 2B, 1 3B, 5 HR in 218 at bats

Gathright: .207 BA, .582 OPS, 8 2B, 1 3B, 0 HR in 208 at bats

Gathright is garbage...not saying Reggie isnt, but he is not an upgrade in any way, shape, or form.

I know the lines. While Gathright's offensive numbers aren't flattering he can run faster than Reggie, can throw farther than Reggie, and can catch balls that go very high in the air better than Reggie.

Basically he has more baseball common sense. While I think Reggie might have decent physical ability, he is slow in the head when it comes to baseball.

iffy on the speed thing, and definitely wrong on the arm thing

Does Gathright even have as strong an arm as JP? And despite what you think, Gathright is not a good defensive OF.

Gathright is not a good baseball player. He has no buisness in MLB. Not saying Reggie does, but they are the same age, same skill level, and having Gathright over Abercrombie would have no effect in the win column.

Both of them are pretty much terrible, it's just Abercrombie has been less terrible.

If I didn't see that throw roll in from second base tonight I probably wouldn't have said it.

it was a wet ball

Abercrombie needs to be sent down. He is playing better than Gathright. Therefore, Gathright as well should not be at the major league level at this point in time.

Well, if anything, Miggy got back on track. :thumbup

Amazing how a pitcher throwing wildly to 2nd base (and advancing Amezaga to 3rd) actually hurt us tonight because after that it was a no-brainer to walk Cabrera.

We've seen these situations with the Marlins before: It's late in a close game, leadoff man gets base hit, and Cabrera is due up 3rd. It makes you almost not want to bunt the runner over to 2nd because if you do so successfully, the opposing team will most likely intentionally walk Cabs or pitch around him.
