I agree with Michael Kay's thought that announcers haveno bearing but he probably expressed his opinion in some of the worst analogies possible.

Is that all, I tuned into YES one day when I was bored. Guess what happened? A yankees classic where they took a lead over boston. "Oh my God, what a game, and the Yankees can win it right here, my god what a game" I really hate him and his dumb@$$ voice, Yankee fans ponder why Mets fans hate their announcers too. I don't care if you hate the Mets but I give a LOT of credit to Hernandez and Cohen, probably one of the most un-biased announcer duos in baseball.

I have no idea what the hell he was talking about.

Unless you mean beastie, Michael Kay was having an arguement with some kid (who sounded pretty geeky on the phone) and the Kid said one of the unwritten rules in baseball is to NOT announce when a No-No is in progress. He was pissed off and blaming Kay for talking about the No-No during the game saying how him mentioning the No hitter was why it went away. While it was obviously right for Kay to defend himself for one of the dumbest most overly superstitious beleifs ever, he responded with over the line examples of how he was justified in what he did which was doing his job and to explain what is going on at the very moment.
