August 10, 200620 yr I'm about a week late but Chicago has been named the best sports city by TSN. http://www.foxchicago.com/_ezpost/data/45262.shtml Full rankings: http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=113586
August 10, 200620 yr Detroit - Wings (best record in league last year), Pistons (best record in league last year), Tigers (best current record in league) A winning season is the most important criterion in creating the ranking, according to the magazine. :confused I guess the regular season records don't matter unless you win it all.
August 10, 200620 yr Author Does the Tigers record this year count for the voting? I thought it was a June to June thing. Anyway, can't really argue.. Sox=champs, Bears=North champs, Bulls=playoffs, NWestern = bowl game, Fire=playoffs, Cubs=lol
August 10, 200620 yr Probably not. I don't care really. I just like the sound of the Tigers having the best record. :pimp
August 10, 200620 yr Miami is a good sports town? Didn't we have this argument a few months back? heheh
August 10, 200620 yr That list is shenigans. Saying Miami is a better sports town than somewhere like Boston is silly.
August 10, 200620 yr Chicago has the Blackhawks, how the hell did any town with Wirtz as an owner get that highly ranked. I mean, a town should automatically lose like 100 points for having as bad an owner as the Wirtz family is.
August 10, 200620 yr who gives a sh*t.. its hockey :lol Im fine with chicago being number one I mean they were a seven seed vs The heat and put up an amazing fight as well there fans were rocking the United center. Their fans are passionate and have a great knowledge of the game I think it would be great to catch a game at Soldier field.
August 10, 200620 yr i wonder why there was no comment on miami being number 2...i mean...give us a reason as to why...
August 10, 200620 yr who gives a sh*t.. its hockey How mature of you. How is that comment "immature" ? It's not like Hockey is anywhere near a top 3 sport in this country. Not many passionate hockey fans in North America.
