Red Sox fans be very afraid

Losing 2 out of 3?

Would have been acceptable. These thing happen.

But swept?

That was pathetic.

(OK so Im just venting because I got killed on my action on the game but that was ridiculous)

:thumbdown

With the way the Yankees have been playing also it's not as big a blow as it could be. Plus Yanks play Angels now and Boston gets to play Baltimore.

The Red Sox can't count any game a win anymore.

You mean like going 17-8 since the All-Star break?

What the hell does that even mean?

Yeah, it has not been a fun August. Team looks absolutely dead right now.

Red Sox better be careful in the next 10 days. Althought they get baltimore next, they arent sending out Beckett or Schilling. Then they get Detriot followed by 5 games with the yankees. If they dont start playing wel out they may end up 7 games back or so by the end of next week

FWIW, the best outing we got during the Rays and Royals series was...

*drumroll*

Jason Johnson's 6 IP, 1 ER run performance on Sunday.

Yanks have an opportnity here to put away Boston but they just lost 2 out of 3 to Chicago (including one blown save) and they're playing Anaheim this weekend and they can't buy a win against Anaheim lately.

This was a great series for the Royals. A much needed good preformance by Reggie who had 3 doubles and 2 RBIs last night. Emil also had a great game.

Schilling pitched a good game until the bottom of the eighth. His selection was terrible then.

This was a much needed confidence booster for this team to sweep a team like the Red Sox. Hopefully this will give them some momentum going forward.

Bernero making his MLB debut tonight against Cleveland.

Schilling was good at times last night but he also gave up nearly a double an inning and Francona should have known that when he eclipses 100-110 pitches his comman and stuff falls off a cliff. He shouldn't have been in there to give up those other runs.

Oh well. Let's see what SnackWells® can do tonight.

Baseball doesn't make sense

If the Red Sox go on to win the World Series shouldn't it mean that the Royals are the real world champions?

It'd be refreshing for the someone else besides the Sox to win the wild card this year.

Is three years that long of a time?

The Red Sox can't count any game a win anymore.

The Blue Jays are coming!
