What do you guys think of his illustrious career?

 

I, for one, will miss him a LOT. I've been a fan of his for about 15 years now. I remember the first time I saw him play--I can't recall the exact year, but it was at the Lipton Open (the one in Miami, I don't know it's name now) and he did his patented 'backwards between the legs' shot against my cousin. I couldn't get the smile off my face, and the next day I was at the tennis courts trying to replicate that move.

 

I think I went to summer tennis camp for several years partly because of him. The guy always had that edge and certain attraction to him.

 

As ESPN notes, this will be the end of an era...And that makes me pretty sad.

Agassi rocks. That's all I gotta say.

Agassi vs. Sapras made tennis pretty awesome.. He's no Sampras but Agassi was the man.

Agassi is the only tennis player I've ever been interested in watching. When he's gone, tennis will be dead to me.

Agassi just won the second set to even the match at one set apiece.

I wish I was there. The emotion and intensity is so high right now.

I stopped watching after 3-0 in the 4th. I knew it was over.

 

So happy for him; at least he didn't go out so early. I'm hoping he makes it to at least quarters, who knows.

I love watching Agassi play. He is in such amazing shape for his age. He wore Pavel out big time. Great job to come back after being down 4-0. Hopefully he can hang around for a little while. Don't have the numbers but it seemed like his second serve was dominated tonight.

At one point in the 3rd set, Pavel was crushing the second serve because the slice was so obvious. But Agassi adjusted and just started firing bullet 2nd serves.

 

And btw that inside-out forehand to finish off the 3rd set was an incredible shot.
